A couple of weeks ago I left my club hoodie behind at Sunset, someone kindly picked it up as we will meet up sometime. Not sure who but if you are going to Pentref could you please give it to Tony Harris who will bring it to the club.

Repairing 3D targets.

Can someone advise on what foam they use for repairs to extend the life of the targets please

Congratulations to the friend of our club Bryony Pitman on her National record shot at the Derrick Lovell Open. Fantastic result and its what makes all the hard work worth while. You are a super star.

Yesterday, Friday, we gave back to the members and families who had given their time and work to put on our two tournaments earlier this year with a relaxed evening BBQ. We are fortunate to have a South African chef who served up a fabulous themed meal. Thank you to all the members who made it an amazing night. Great food, great company, cold beer and a bit of flood light fun.

Good morning All, Please be advised that we will be shooting in Park woods this Sunday. There will be various groups shooting at both ends of the woods. If you are walking on Sunday please stick to the paths and make yourselves heard, we dont mind if you sing a little bit. 😊.
We will be meeting on the gallops where the warm-up targets will be.

Our next venture at the Priory is on the 9th of August. We will have a loop of WA and a loop of 3D for you to choose from open to all AGB members. If you are new to field archery please let us know and we will guide you through.

DATE CHANGE

The Derrick Lovell Open tournament incorporating the English field championships will be on July 31st August 1st 2027.

Thank you to Bilsington Priory and Ballands Bowmen for your understanding.

This change was due to our original date clashing with the BTC.

I know I'm biased but I think this weekends tournament is about as good as it gets, even the weather was on our side.
Thank you to everyone who supported us and we hope to see you and more next year at the Priory.

I forgot to mention the dates for next year's shoots, the 3D will be on the 5th 6th of June with the Derrick Lovell Open on the 7th 8th of August 2027. Both will be the SCAS regional championships and additionally the Derrick Lovell will also be the English field championships.
