I did a win 🏆

After 3 years away from racing I decided it was time to dust off the leathers and make another comeback 🫣😆

Special moment to compete in my old pal Ben Godfrey’s race today. I thoroughly enjoyed being back at Darley and seeing some familiar faces again.

I am officially the 2022 Mallory Trophy 600 champion 🏆

Roll on next season. I have big ambitions and a lot of work to do to achieve them so watch this space.

Update about the final Emra meeting today.

Turns out there is two races per class with double points available today not the usual one race per class with double points.
So that means I have not won the championships. Obviously with my bike being out of action since the Stars of Darley there’s nothing I can do.

2022 season is now officially over for me 😮

I’ve finally had the confirmation that the plan for the final emra round riding a 1000 is now not happening. It’s disappointing but it is what it is. My R6 is out of action after the technical problem at the Stars of Darley meeting so unfortunately I won’t be able to race this weekend.

Fortunately..… that is if my maths is correct.…. I have already wrapped up both 600 championships at the last round 🏆🏆

I’d like to thank my Dad Steve Tarren, Jane Goodall , Chris Webb of Biketec Tamworth, Steve Ackah of MRCUK and all the Sealwood Cottage Vineyard team and everyone else that’s helped and supported me with the racing this year. 🙏

The hope next year is to get back to the BSB paddock. It’s the best paddock to be in ..riding with the best with the best fans trackside.

If you or you know any businesses or people who might be interested coming on board next year please let me know and hopefully I can use my racing to help them promote their business. Im going to look into setting up my #72 club again. Any help will be gratefully recieved.

🌟🌟 Stars of Darley 2022 🌟🌟

It was great to go back to where I began my racing journey and to see some old friends again.

On Saturday I qualified in 12th and 3rd 600 setting a new pb. In race 1 I had a terrible first lap which gave me some work to do to catch up the group infront. I dug deep and picked my way through them to finish 10th overall and 2nd 600.

After a bit of advice from some legends and a gearing change I was looking forward to seeing what I could do in race 2 to better my result from race 1. Sadly on the warm up lap my bike had a technical problem which took me out of the race. Disappointing but that’s racing as they say… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you to my Dad, Jane and Sue for their help during the weekend and also a special thank you to Eddie Nelson and the whole Darley team for the opportunity to be part of the Stars of Darley 2022 meeting 🙏

Before the event we had the tragic news of Chrissy Rouse and he was very much in my thoughts. It’s another tragic loss to the racing community. Thoughts go out out to his family and friends in these extremely difficult times.

🏁🏁 Great news 🏁🏁

I will be racing in this weekends stars of Darley event on the 8th and 9th of October.

I’m so excited to go back to the place where I started racing.

I’ll be sharing the track with TT legend John McGuinness and Bsb riders Richard Cooper and Leon Jeacock as well as several other Road racers and bsb riders.
