Huge congratulations to Etien for an incredible performance at the Great British Schools National Biathlon at Bath University 🏅

He smashed a PB in the 50m freestyle with 32.57s, followed it up with an outstanding 800m run in 2:28, and finished an amazing 2nd in the country. A brilliantly close competition and a result so well deserved. We’re so proud to see his hard work, determination and composure paying off — and even more excited that he’s now been invited to a Pentathlon GB performance pathway selection day.

What a weekend at the BWSC Regional Qualifier Meet! 🏅🔥
We had so many medals, final swims, and PBs across the pool we could hardly keep up! An incredible effort from all our Ascot Royals swimmers, with hard work, determination, and team spirit on display all weekend long. So proud of every single performance — bring on the next one! 💙🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Ascot Royals Foundation Stage

The first step into competitive swimming.

Our Foundation Stage helps swimmers transition from lessons into squad training, introducing structured sessions in a fun and supportive environment.

👥 Who can join?
Swimmers aged 7 who can confidently swim:
• 25m Frontcrawl
• 25m Backcrawl
• 25m Breaststroke

All swimmers must attend an assessment, with places offered following a successful session.

📍 Heathfield School
🗓 Thursdays (term time)
⏰ 6:00–7:00pm

Sessions focus on streamlining, diving, kick development, stroke efficiency and squad skills, plus 15 minutes of supervised games and races to build confidence and friendships.

🤝 Foundation and Academy swimmers also receive 50% off lessons with Frogs & Friends Swimming School.

YET ANOTHER WIN for the Royals!🏆🔥

What an incredible night for Ascot Royals at the Thames Valley Junior League Round 2! Our swimmers delivered fantastic races, showed amazing team spirit, and supported each other every step of the way. A huge thank you to all the swimmers, coaches, volunteers and parents who made it such a storming success — we couldn’t do it without you! 💛🏊‍♀️

Ascot Royals are making a BIG statement in our first ever Thames Valley Junior League… and we’re not done yet!

Next stop: THE FINAL on 18th April. Venue TBC — but we’re ready to bring the same energy, determination and team spirit. Let’s go Royals! 💪👑
