FINAL FAREWELL
As this season comes to an end, we want to take a moment to thank everyone at Arnold Town Football Club for all the support, memories, and opportunities over the years. Being part of this club has meant so much to every player, coach, and supporter involved. From the early morning kick-offs and cold winter training sessions to the celebrations, laughter, and unforgettable matchdays, Arnold Town has been more than just a football club — it has been a family.
Thank you for giving the girls a place to grow in confidence, develop as players, and create friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Every person involved with the club has played a part in making the journey special, and the pride of wearing the Arnold Town badge will always stay with us as we move forward together into a new chapter.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to our amazing sponsors — Unite the Union, Coppers Mapperley, Mellors, and SKL Cleaning Services — for your continued support throughout the seasons. Man of the Match went to Jess who put in an outstanding performance full of determination and effort from start to finish. She followed up every ball and never gave up on any opportunity, which led to a well-deserved goal. Her work rate throughout the game was exceptional, constantly chasing every ball and putting pressure on the opposition.
Defensively, Jess put in strong tackles and worked hard to win possession back for the team. Once on the ball, she was always looking to make the right pass and help create attacking opportunities. Her composure and decision-making helped keep the team moving forward throughout the match.
Jess showed great commitment to the team and her positive attitude helped drive the side forward all game. Her energy, persistence, and willingness to fight for every challenge made her a deserved Player of the Match. Well done Jess ❤️🦅

A hard-fought 2-1 win last weekend saw the team show great character and determination to come from behind and take all three points. After falling behind early on, the response from the squad was outstanding, with the intensity and work rate lifting everyone on the pitch.

Player of the Match went to Alisha, whose performance set the standard from start to finish. She scored our first goal to bring us back into the game at a crucial moment and gave the team the belief to push on for the win. Throughout the match, Alisha chased every ball down relentlessly, constantly applying pressure to the opposition and never allowing them time to settle.

Her composure on the ball stood out all game, making smart decisions under pressure and helping create attacking opportunities through well-worked set plays. Combined with her determination and energy, it was a complete performance that fully deserved the Man of the Match award.

An excellent team performance overall and a deserved 2-1 victory.

Even though we didn’t get the result we wanted, Molly put in an outstanding performance and was fully deserving of Player of the Match. From the first whistle to the final minute, she never stopped working and gave absolutely everything for the team. Her attitude and determination stood out throughout the game, always staying positive and continuing to battle no matter the scoreline.

Molly’s pressing was excellent all game and she constantly put the opposition under pressure, never allowing them time on the ball. Her work rate was unbelievable, chasing down every loose ball and helping the team both defensively and going forward. She led by example with her energy and commitment, showing real desire every time she stepped onto the pitch.

On the ball, Molly showed great quality and composure, helping to set up attacking plays and link the team together. Her movement and awareness allowed her to create opportunities for her teammates, and she was always looking to make something happen. Her quick feet and sharp footwork caused problems for the opposition throughout the match, helping her get out of tight spaces and drive the team forward.

Molly also showed great physicality throughout the game, battling strongly in challenges and not backing down against the opposition. She used her strength well to protect the ball, compete in duels, and help the team regain possession in important moments. Her toughness and determination added another level to her performance and helped keep the team competing right until the final whistle.

Overall, Molly showed fantastic effort, skill, determination, and physical presence from start to finish. Despite the result, she never gave up and continued to fight for the team in every moment, making her a deserved Player of the Match. Well done Molly!❤️🦅
