FT Shirebrook Rangers Women 5 Arnold Town Women 1
Despite the scoreline, Arnold Town Women put in a spirited and determined performance against a strong Shirebrook Rangers side this morning.
The match started brightly, with Arnold showing real intent and pressing high up the pitch.
Shirebrook, however, proved clinical in front of goal, capitalising on their chances to take a commanding lead.
Regardless of the conditions and the scoreline, Arnold maintained their intensity, pushing forward until the final whistle and showing signs of real progress as a team.
Although the result didn’t go our way today, Arnold can take a lot of positives from this game into the next match.
The team now have two weeks off which gives us valuable time to rest, reset and build on our performances in training.

Ellen- Stepped up and played out of position today and absolutely smashed it. Normally in goal but took on a new role without hesitation and gave it everything, solid tackles and positioning throughout the game.
Maddie- Chased every ball down and put constant pressure on the defence, rewarded by a goal in the second half.
