On Sunday morning, we were back at home for our next GADYFL fixture against On The Ball, and the boys produced a fantastic performance from start to finish.
From the first whistle, the team played with great intensity, moved the ball brilliantly, and worked hard for each other all over the pitch. Their passing, pressing, and teamwork caused problems throughout the first half, where all of our goals were scored in an outstanding attacking display.
A special mention goes to our new signing Lyle Armstrong, who had a brilliant game, scored two excellent goals and had a fantastic all-round performance. Lucas also continued his fine form with two well-taken goals, while Mylo and AJ both got the goals their performances deserved.
Defensively, the boys were solid and disciplined, working hard as a unit and showing great communication throughout the match. Every player contributed, whether starting or coming off the bench, and the attitude, effort, and encouragement for each other was excellent to see.
Player of the Match deservedly went to Kayden, who put in an outstanding performance with incredible work rate, composure, and determination throughout the game.
Massive well done to all the boys — the hard work in training is really starting to show in the performances and teamwork on matchdays.💪⚽
