We would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
Its been a tough 2025 for Anorthosis in our first season,
The Andreou's U21's side despite a positive start, with a win against Tayside Rovers, have found the Angus & Mearns AFA League tough playing against experienced teams.
But we go again in 2026, hoping to learn from the first half of season to make improvements.

After a couple of poor results the lads had a point to prove today. With a new formation from the player manager, chef , kitman, cleaner, bottle picker , chairman Andy old man mac , the lads looked much brighter.
And it showed with 2 fantastic team goals from Reece and Lennan to put Anorthosis 2-0. Just before the break Rovers pulled one back to make it 2-1 with an own goal .

After an even start to the second half , Rovers equalised with an easy tap in , some poor defending from Anorthosis.
What has happened in previous games is that we have lost confidence after a team has scored against us , and heads have gone down. But to give the lads credit this wasnt going to happen today.
With another stroke of tactical genius , gaffer old man mac, told himself off and put Lewis Gray in his place CDM , and without doubt , Lewis made this position his own within minutes by putting us 3-2 up. Then Lewis again with a wondergoal making it 4-2. And to top it off Andy Davidson finished the rout with a 5th
Massive improvement today from the lads, new formation is working and we are looking dangerous
Every player gave it 100%, a real team performance.

Tale of 2 half's, first half we were the stronger going 1-1 at the break, then qu**ky taking a 2-1 at the start of the 2nd half thanks to a brace from new signing Reece Brown, sadly quite a few enforced changes due to injuries our shape wasnt as good as it should have been and we ended up losing 5-2
But heads up were a new team and will get better

Anorthosis Andreou's 4 - 6 Arbroath Harp Football Club
In what was always going to be a tough game the lads gave it 100% effort, and was a much improved performance from the 10-0 defeat on Sunday.
First half the lads started off well going 2-0 up with a great finish from Stephen Brown and a wondergoal from Aidan Alexander .
Harp pulled 1 back, but Andreou's took the lead to make it 3-1 with a bullet header from Paul Reid. Before the half time whistle Harp scored another
Half Time Anorhosis 3-2 Arbroath Harp
Few changes at Half Time with the OAP's Andy Mac and Reider coming off, replaced by Jack McCagh and Lewis Gray and Mikey Emmerson replacing Keelan Geddes.
Harp started the stronger team in the 2nd half and came from behind to go 5-3 up, Andreou's got back in the game with some good link up and a fantastic strike from Lewis Gray to make it 5-4 .
Sadly for us game was ended with Harp's 6th goal.

My belief is to give back to your local community as much as possible,
and thats what we do with the Andreou's football teams we have created, we have built a family of over 4 teams.
Giving adults and children the enjoyment of football no matter their skill level or background.
And its been amazing watch these teams grow, aswell as the individuals taking part.
That's why we are delighted to announce Results Gym Arbroath as the official short sponsor for our new u21 team Anorthosis Andreou's .
