Rachel came to VF at the end of April & set 3 targets:

1️⃣ Rhythm

2️⃣ Consistency

3️⃣ 4-6lbs Weight loss

Here’s what she said:

“I had no real experience of a gym setting or routine. There were plenty of class times to work around my family schedule and the classes were so welcoming and friendly.

I feel so much more full of energy.

I thoroughly enjoy each session and feel healthier, fitter, with more toned abs and my mental health is much improved.

It’s a community that has welcomed me in and I already feel like part of the team.”

Fast Forward 6 Weeks and all targets met:

𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏 exercising to lose weight

If you only view training as a tool to lose weight and to look good, then it's easy to skip workouts and become disengaged over time.

And that means you’ll quit. Then go backwards.

RECOGNISE why we are training:

We use the gym to get fitter and stronger.

As a result of that… you’ll improve your energy, confidence, mobility, joint health, lung and heart health, aswell as lots of other benefits.

And of course you’ll increase your body’s ability to burn fat.

When you recognise that 👆🏽 improved cognitive function, sleep, mood, self-esteem, and better mental health, come from exercise, you begin to start making better choices all-round. All of that will facilitate weight loss.

But if you NEVER buy into exercise for your overall health, you’ll never feel yourself progressing, even if you hit your weight loss goal.

And you’ll quit easier.
