Nearly broke my neck…

But got it done this morning 🤣

Trying to figure out this morning workout malarkey, and I have to admit it feels good to get it done and have less excuses form through the day.

Feels great to be moving more freely and bloat going down after having both ovaries and tubes removed 4.5 weeks ago. Getting back to normal 🥰

Anyway, enough about me, what movement are you doing today?

03/08/2026

SHOCK!!

If you do the things to feel good… you feel good!

Here’s your reminder today to act for the way you WANT to feel, not how you do feel.

Take the steps, even if they are small, for how you want to feel. Those small steps matter more than you realise.

You’ve got this ladies 😘

Just a gal, at the edge of a breakdown, using movement to feel better 😅

Seriously though, we all have ups and downs, harder weeks and more emotional. 👀

A lot going on this week… many unknowns, up-coming surgery, house-move, Lottie starting school, and days off with little’n whilst juggling multiple work projects… it snowed me under today, and for me down.

Definitely shed more than one tear! 😢

The last thing I felt like doing was exercise, yet I was determined to feel better, and knew this was the solution best aligned with the me of today, and the me I aspire to be. Old me would have binge ate or had a few drinks.

Less than a minute into moving my body and I felt the weight of the world life off of me, my mood improve and my energy sky rocket. 🚀

Hope this serves as a motivator to move yourself today, or reflect on how far you’ve come yourself.

I prefer this version of me. So glad I did the work. And proud I’m a part of other people doing the work too 🥰

Thanks to my husband for the support and for the chat 😎

I’m always torn…

Between protecting space and time for myself, whilst also wanting my girl to see me being strong, struggling and overcoming. I want her to see movement as so normal that it’s never even a question.

Getting time to just be you and get into a flow state uninterrupted, doing the most optimal workout is incredible. But, if you’re holding out for that perfect time, in a season of your life, where it rarely or never happens… then you’re missing out on A LOT.

You’re missing the physical and mental benefits that imperfect action brings. And trust me, it’s sooooooooooooooo much. Be ultimately, imperfect action breeds consistency - which is the ONLY way to get results.

You’re also missing showing them that movement matters. In any way. Together. Apart. Together but doing it apart 🤪

My girl loves DannyGo, and I don’t feel bad about having the tv on because she’s engaged with exercise in a way she is finding fun.

Get moving today mumma’s… any way that works for the season of life you are in right now.

Turns out I quite like running… when it doubles up as sightseeing 😃🏃‍♀️✨

In Las Vegas for a conference with JC , levelling up 💪🔥

So I figured… what better way to see the place than to lace up and run it 👟🌆 Before we start working and growing 🤩

Running the Las Vegas Strip is such a cool, slightly surreal experience 🤯🌃 The lights, the energy, the randomness of it all… you don’t get that from a taxi 🚕

And it got me thinking about what movement and fitness is actually about 💭

Not punishment. Not perfection.

Freedom 🙌
Joy 😊
Experience 🌍✨

This is what sustainable fitness looks like 💫
Moving your body in a way that adds to your life, not takes from it 🤍

So whether it’s a run, a walk, a gym session, or just getting outside for some fresh air… 🌿☀️
Get moving today 😘💃

Stop believing you have to cut foods out to lose weight. 🚫🍫

Listen up ladies… 📣

It’s just not necessary.

In fact, cutting out and demonising foods often makes weight loss harder, not easier.

Restriction creates a scarcity mindset, which ramps up food noise and makes you want that food even more.

It’s like the ex you cut out who suddenly felt irresistible. 👀

Any “diet” that means you can’t enjoy meals out, celebrate with friends, or share a Mother’s Day biscuit from your kid… isn’t a lifestyle you can sustain.

And if it isn’t sustainable, the results won’t be either.

It is possible to enjoy food and lose weight.

One of my clients is nearly 20lbs down in the past two months, while still enjoying wine 🍷 and eating out most days.

Sustainable fat loss comes from balance, not restriction.

If you want results without giving up your life (and results that actually last)…

One year it’s thin. 🙄
The next it’s strong.
Then it’s curves.
Then something else entirely.

Body trends will never end. Your body isn’t supposed to keep up with them. 😠

Seriously, ladies. You will always be too much for some people, and too little for others. And I’m sorry if you’ve ever been made to feel like that’s your fault. That’s a THEM problem.

As long as you are enough of whatever for YOU, that’s what matters. 💛

What truly matters is having a healthy, strong, well-functioning body that lets you live your life.

A body that can go on adventures.
Climb mountains.
Walk or run on the beach.
Dance in the kitchen.
Play with the kids or grandkids.
Stay strong and independent as you age.

Please focus on what your body can do, not just how it looks.

Trends will always change.
Your body is not a trend. You are YOU. ✨

And if you’re not happy with what your body can currently do, it’s never too late to change that.

It took me a long time to accept my cellulite and not having lean legs… not wearing shorts and hiding my legs in photos growing up. Now? I’m so proud of how STRONG they are 💪

10 minutes is not “bare minimum”. Some days it’s your full effort. 💗

Which makes it 100% of what you have to offer, and that deserves to be celebrated, not criticised. 👏

This is why so many women struggle with weight loss and fitness. Perfectionism. Unrealistic standards. Waiting for big, perfect days instead of building sustainable healthy habits in real life.

It keeps you stuck in inaction, or starting and quitting over and over. And I know that eats away at your self-trust.

Most of my workouts were 10–20 minutes. Most meals were microwave rice, salmon and ready-chopped veg. That’s how I lost 55lbs and built real strength in the hardest season of my life.

Consistency beats perfection. Every time. 🔥

Are you stuck in perfectionism right now? Comment YES and let’s talk. 💬 I have an amazing ‘Which Perfectionist Are You’ doc, if you want the link!

If only wanting it was enough… 💔✨

Sis, you’d already be showing up exactly how you want to.
Because I know how much you want this.
I know how much it hurts to promise yourself, “this week I’ll eat better and move more”…
Only to feel like you’ve failed again. 😔

My top tips for weight loss, healthy habits, and consistency 👇

Wanting it isn’t enough.
You need foundations.
You need a plan that fits your real life.

Not perfection.
Not motivation.
Not another “Monday reset”.

A sustainable plan. 💪💗

Ask yourself:
✔️ Do I know what my week actually looks like?
✔️ Are my meals planned and groceries sorted?
✔️ Are my workouts and walks scheduled?
✔️ Do I know when, where, and how I’m showing up?

If those aren’t in place…
All you’ve got is a wish.
Not a strategy for fat loss, fitness, and long-term health.

And that’s why you keep starting again.

The good news is… 🌸
This takes about 30 minutes.
Including ordering your food online.
And it saves you hours of stress, decision fatigue, emotional eating, and last-minute shop runs every week.

Some things will go to plan. AMAZING.
Some won’t.

And it’s in the “won’t” that you build real confidence, resilience, and consistency.
That’s where mindset shifts happen.
That’s where coaching matters. 💞

👉 Save this for Sunday planning 💾
Future you will be grateful.

Now tell me…
Which bit do you find hardest right now?

No one saw… 👀

The 5am workouts.
The sugar I “cut out”.
The 110% every single day.

Because I didn’t do any of that. 😂❌

What actually happened was:

Bedroom workouts in front of the TV when my child wouldn’t sleep 📺💤
10 minutes in the kitchen while dinner cooked 🍝⏱️
Walks I basically negotiated myself into on days with more work than hours 🚶‍♀️😮‍💨
Messy effort. Low energy days. “This will do” energy.
Repeated. Relentlessly.

That’s how I lost 55lbs / 25kg.
That’s how I got strong.
That’s how I got consistent.
In one of the hardest seasons of my life.

Not motivation.
Not willpower.
Not “new week new me” 🙄✨

Adaptability.
Flexibility.
And refusing to quit when life went feral.

Consistency isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing something.
With what you have.
When you have it.
Without burning yourself into the ground 🔥🚫

If you’re a busy mum.
A working woman.
Peri-tired. Life-tired. Decision-fatigued.
Trying to lose weight without hating your life…

You don’t need stricter rules.
You need better systems.
And someone in your corner who gets real life. 💗

And that’s me.

Drop a 💗 in the comments and I’ll DM you and help you work through whatever is blocking your progress right now. No judgement. No nonsense. Just support. ✨
