So pleased to take my first victory in CSCC Tin Tops at Thruxton on Sunday! A great start saw me jump from P6 to P3 into turn 1. A good battle for 3rd and 4th took us up to the pit stops where I would eventually net out in the lead after some troubles up ahead. A long safety car for the clear up of the scary accident meant a 2 lap showdown for the win between me and . A mighty penultimate lap (PB) after the restart was then followed by a huge error at the start of the final lap, nearly spinning off, gifting the lead to Adam as we then headed out to the back of the circuit. But I kept going and tried everything to get it back. A mega battle slip streaming into the braking zone of the final chicane saw me cross the line 2nd, then promoted to 1st after a 5 second penalty was applied. A dream comeback for the 306 after the troubles of Silverstone back in March. Enjoyed the battle with Adam and glad John was ok after his shunt.
