🏐💜 WEST PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT 2026 💜🏐

What an absolutely incredible day yesterday! Treforus Netball Club were very proud to host the West Pre-Season Tournament, and a huge thank you to all the clubs who joined us for such a special day of netball. 🏐

It was brilliant to see so many teams, coaches, umpires, volunteers and supporters coming together and giving the girls a fantastic day of tournament netball and, most importantly, lots of fun and new netball friendships. 💕🏐

A huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers, coaches and umpires who helped make the day possible. These tournaments take a massive team effort and we really appreciate every single person who played their part. 👏🏼

💜 TREFORUS NETBALL CLUB 💜

It’s hard to believe that we only expanded Treforus to include junior netball just a year ago. Since then, the opportunities for our junior girls have grown hugely, with multiple teams in every age group, giving so many more girls the chance to play, compete and experience league and tournament netball.

Yesterday was a perfect example of that. Some of our girls were playing in their first ever tournament, while having multiple teams in every age group meant even more of our players could take part and enjoy the experience.

To see Treforus teams reach 3 cup finals and 1 plate final was a fantastic achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort from every single girl. 🏆💜

But the results are only a small part of what makes days like yesterday so special. Watching the girls mix with players from other clubs, make new friendships, support each other and simply enjoy being part of a big day of netball and club tour was by far the best part. 🏐💕

❤️ Speedy recovery to our u16 Lily! Wishing you a quick recovery and hoping to see you back on court soon! 🏐

Thank you again to every club who joined us, and to everyone who helped make the West Pre-Season Tournament 2026 such a memorable day.

🌺 Treforus Club Tour – Day 2 🌺

🏐 West Tournament Day! 🏐

What an amazing day yesterday hosting the West Tournament! We’ll have plenty of tournament pics, results and videos to follow…but for us, the best part wasn’t just the netball, it was seeing all the girls mixing, having fun and making new netball friendships, not only within their own teams and club, but with girls from other clubs too. 💕🏐

A huge thank you to all the coaches, umpires and our unbelievable volunteers who helped make the West Tournament happen. We couldn’t have done it without you! 👏🏼💜

And here’s one pic from last night’s Hawaiian night at the clubhouse 🌺 Only about half of the tour group actually made it into this photo… the rest were clearly having far too much fun somewhere else on site!

💜🏐 EXCITING NEWS – WE’RE EXPANDING TO TWO SITES! 🏐💜

We feel incredibly fortunate to have so many girls wanting to play netball with Treforus Netball Club! 💜🩷🖤

With our numbers continuing to grow, we’ve been working hard to make sure we can keep offering girls the opportunity to play. To avoid huge waiting lists, turning girls away and overcrowded training sessions, we’re excited to announce that we’re expanding our training across TWO SITES! 🎉

This means more girls, more teams, more court time and more opportunities — while keeping training numbers manageable and maintaining quality coaching. 🏐🙌

💜🏐 SUCCESSFUL NETBALL TASTER SESSION 🏐💜

Yesterday we hosted a fantastic 2-hour taster session for our Under 8s and Under 10s, and what a brilliant session it was! 💜

It was lovely to see so many new girls giving netball a go, learning new skills, building confidence, having fun and making new friends along the way. 🥰

The session was packed with lots of different activities, games and skill-based challenges, and the best part was seeing everyone leave with a smile on their face! 😁🏐

A huge thank you once again to the Heart of Wales Line for their amazing support and funding, which helped make this free session possible. We are incredibly grateful for your support in helping us provide more opportunities for girls in our local community to get active and experience netball. 💜🖤💖

We hope this is the start of many of our new players’ netball journeys! 🌟🏐

💜🏐 BACK TO NETBALL IS ALREADY THRIVING IN AMMANFORD! 🏐💜

We wanted to take a moment to clarify that Treforus Netball Club has been proudly offering Back to Netball sessions for ladies in the Ammanford community for a year.

When we brought Treforus Netball Club to Ammanford, we recognised that there was no local Back to Netball opportunity available for women and girls wanting to return to the sport, try netball for the first time, get active or simply meet new people.

We’re incredibly proud of what our Back to Netball group has become. 💜 It has grown from strength to strength and is now a thriving, welcoming group with ladies of different ages and abilities enjoying netball every week.

Our sessions are delivered by qualified Level 1 and Level 2 netball coaches, helping us to provide a safe, supportive and informative environment where everyone can develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy being back on court. 🏐💜

Recently, we have seen advertising suggesting that “Back to Netball is coming to Ammanford.” We therefore felt it was important to clarify that Back to Netball is already here in Ammanford and has been successfully running with Treforus Netball Club for over a year. 🏐

Of course, we fully support more opportunities for women to get involved in sport, and other clubs are absolutely welcome to offer similar sessions within the area. More opportunities can only be positive for our community. However, we also feel it is important to recognise and highlight the work our club, coaches and volunteers have already put into establishing and growing Back to Netball locally.

We’re extremely proud of our ladies, our coaches and the fantastic community that has developed around these sessions. 💜🖤💖

Back to Netball is already in Ammanford — and it’s thriving! 🙌🏐
