Just a quick post on recent weeks…

So overwhelmed by the support I have had so far! Creating a womens rugby team has been incredibly difficult at times but we’re up and running and in full swing.

I have been passionate about playing and watching rugby since I was a kid. After my accident back in January 2021 it killed me not being able to play and doing what I loved, but, after coming to terms with it, I knew I needed to create a local rugby team.

Firstly, I’d like to thank Cwmgors RFC for letting me, helping me & most of all trusting me to create a team in the club!

Also, I’d like to thank the girls for turning up and making this all possible, I feel like we’ve come so far already, making friends and memories that’ll last a lifetime.

Special mentions to Morriston RFC Women for kickstarting my rugby career, hope to see you girls on the pitch and more importantly in the pub soon 💪🍺

Also, to Brychan John, even though he doesn’t do much 🤪 he has been a massive help with all the admin etc.
my mam Rebecca Jones and dad who has trusted me through the whole process and turned up to every meet-up, training etc couldn’t do it without them!
Jordan smith who has taken on the coaching, and bossed it 💪 with special help of Owen Davies obvs🤣

Just want to summarise.

I urge that anyone who’s looking for new challenges & new friends or even just escaping the kids for an hour or two in the week please, please, please come along. Anyones welcome!🍒
