2025 rally highlights….

It was a busy one - after a quieter year the year before, in 2025 I managed to squeeze in 10 rallies in the driving seat and 3 as a co-driver.

I got back out in the forests for the first time since my accident in 2022, and loved every second, building up confidence and speed throughout the season. Delighted to have won my class in the ANWCC Forest Championship, finished 4th in class in the BTRDA championship, 3rd in class in the English championship and provisionally won the British Women Racing Drivers' Club rally championship.

Thanks to Ignition Motorsport for looking after us for the year, really appreciate all you do 🙏 thanks also to James Morris, Martin Haggett, Matt Baddeley and Jordan Joines for co-driving and to my sponsors Carbon Positive Motorsport, Morris Lubricants and Demon Tweeks Motorsport for their support.

I particularly enjoyed the Trackrod, Wydean and Grizedale and really felt like I was building my confidence by that point in the season. The McRae Rally Challenge at Knockhill was another highlight. I was honoured to get to compete against so many rallying legends, and the atmosphere was incredible. 2nd in class was an unexpected bonus for me and Jordan.

I also entered my first international rally and first rally in an electric car - EcoRally Scotland with Craig Parry co-driving in the Alpine. Definitely a different side to the sport but an enjoyable weekend and a podium was an unexpectedly bonus! Thanks to Craig for organising and keeping me right.

I also had the chance to co-drive for Ollie O’Donovan again at Anglesey and Donington, and finished off the season with the opportunity to sit with Patrick O’Donovan at Croft, where we finished the season on a high with an overall win - my first in 10 years!

Missing the start to this season and the awards dos due to some exciting travel plans, but can’t wait to get behind the wheel again a bit later in the year.

The final rally of the year for me was the Jack Frost Stages at Croft last Sunday, following Grizedale in my own car the day before.

Originally set to co-drive for Ollie O’Donovan again, after Ollie had to withdraw from the event on the Friday, I was asked to co-drive for his son Patrick for the first time.

It was my first time competing at Croft and I really enjoyed the event. Conditions were challenging, especially in the afternoon, but a flawless drive from Patrick saw us win the event by over a minute, while managing an intermittent misfire.

Thanks to Patrick for trusting me to co-drive, it was a perfect way to round off a busy 2025 season.

Final rally weekend of 2025 - first up was Grizedale Stages, the last round of this year’s BTRDA championship.

Absolutely epic stages - really technical which is what I enjoy, although I think poor Martin hardly had time to draw a breath between notes! Conditions were again challenging, stages were really slippy due to the volume of rain, and also rough on the second run through. Pleased to have finished 5th in class and 44th overall, a big improvement on our seeding of 79.

It was enough to secure 3rd in class in the English Championship and 4th in class in BTRDA, which I’m really pleased with for my first time in the championship and first time on each of these events.

Rally double header this weekend to finish the season!

First up, Grizedale Rally in JIG, the last round of the BTRDA, with Martin Haggett co-driving.

Then swapping seats for tomorrow and heading to Croft to co-drive for Patrick O’Donovan at the Jack Frost Stages.

Donington Rally 2025… a challenging start to the day when we stopped on SS1 just before the tunnel which resulted in a stage max. A stellar drive from Ollie saw us set 2nd and 3rd overall stage times for the rest of the day and climb back up to 8th overall in the final standings. A really fun rally, especially the gravel section, with lots of sideways moments!

We do it all again this Sunday at the Jack Frost Stages at Croft - but first, back to the driving seat for Grizedale this Saturday in JIG.

3rd in class at the Wyedean Rally! I’d done my usual and hadn’t looked at the results all day so when we got to the end I was pleasantly surprised to see where we finished!

Thanks to Ignition Motorsport for looking after us as usual and to Lucy for picking me up and dropping me off at Bristol airport to save me another long drive! And to Martin Haggett for doing a brilliant job on the notes. We had an eventful start to the day when someone drove into us on the way to the rally, but luckily the rally itself was incident free!

Really enjoying being back on gravel and have built up my confidence throughout the season. Only one more to go this year - Grizedale in 4 weeks.

It’s rally week!!!

Excited to get back behind the wheel again this weekend for the Wyedean Rally on Saturday.

Martin Haggett and I are seeded at 46 - which I appreciate as a Rossi fan! Looking forward to another fun weekend with Ignition Motorsport.

Cambrian Rally - first time competing on this event and it was tough! With SS1 cancelled, we started with SS2 Clocaenog. Conditions were really challenging, as the stages were incredibly rough and slippy. We made it through the first loop and back to service then headed back out for SS5. Unfortunately the heated screen blew a fuse and visibility was really poor. After the stage we pulled over to wipe the screen, then JIG wouldn’t restart so unfortunately we had to retire.

Thanks to Martin Haggett for doing a great job on the notes, and to Ignition Motorsport for looking after us, it was a fun weekend with the team, and great to see the rest of the team finish in those challenging conditions.

Massive credit to all the marshals as well for standing out in those conditions all day - thank you!

Luckily it’s not long to go until the next one! Looking forward to the Wydean on 8th November.

Trackrod Rally ✅

What a rally! First time out on gravel in a few months and a new event for me – and I loved every second!

After the accident a few years ago I lost my confidence a bit and didn’t drive in the woods again until earlier this year. It’s taken me a few events to build up my confidence and really felt like things were coming together on this one, with times improving on every stage.

Particularly enjoyed Staindale, so I was happy we got to do that stage twice! I was a little nervous approaching Dalby – a very fast stage – but enjoyed it more than I expected to!

A really enjoyable event with great stages, a compact route and really well organised. Thanks to all the organisers and marshals for putting on such a great event.
