🔷In House Friendly For The Girls🔷

The Under 12 girls kicked off today's fun day with an in-house friendly.

A high scoring game was edged by the yellows, both teams played really well in a game that was played in a friendly yet competitive nature.

POTMs
We allowed the two teams to choose their own player of the match for the opposing team today.

Our u12s captain got the award for the yellows, she was creative down the left hand side and unlucky not to score.

One of our newest recruits got the award for the blues. In only her 2nd game of football she was strong in the tackle and showed a good range of passing, she's a great girl who's slotted straight into the group and we couldn't be happier to have her.

🔷Girls Brilliant At Burradon🔷

The Saturday U11s were back in action this afternoon, beating Burradon Yellows Boys in a friendly.

This was one of, if not the best performance to date from this group with some unbelievable football on display from start to finish. The girls passed the ball around brilliantly from front to back and scored some well worked goals as well as a couple of fine individual strikes. The lasses were clapped off the pitch by the Burradon parents which spoke volumes about how they played.

POTMs
The Saturday skipper was back after her trip to Italy, she capped a fine return off with a couple of long range goals. A really intelligent performance from her as she always knew where to be on the pitch in order to be the most effective. She's an absolute star ⭐

Joint coach POTM's for our wingers who were always looking to get at the Burradon back line with their quick moving and running. They're both developing brilliantly and we're expecting both to have another great season. Our number 10 is just an Under 10 herself and not content with just playing against older girls in the league she's also impressed against older boys throughout pre season too.

Well done, all 8 were brilliant today!

Unfortunately no Wildcats tomorrow due to many of the regular attendees being on holiday.

With the season starting it will be difficult to put sessions on on Sundays for the time being but we'll be back with future dates soon!

🔷Girls In Friendly Action🔷

A mix of the u11/u12 girls made the trip to Ponteland this morning to take on our friends the Jaguars.

A squad of 14 soon became 9 due to illness, injuries and a faulty alarm clock ⏰ but the available girls put in a great shift to come away with the win.

POTMs

Our number 6 has been in fine form in pre-season, she grabbed four goals today including a couple of cracking solo efforts.

The coach's award went to our ever reliable centre midfielder, she kept the game ticking over in the middle throughout and scored a couple of goals in the second half. It was also great to hear her constantly encouraging and praising our two newest players as well, what a star! ⭐
