🦢 FULL TIME RESULT 🦢

A tough one for the lads today as we drew 3-3 after 90 minutes, meaning the game went to penalties.

With a few lads missing and a few carrying injuries, the squad dug deep after half time winning us a couple more goals securing an opportunity to try and take the game back. Unfortunately, we came out on the wrong side of a 5-4 penalty shootout.

We’re back on the pitch again following Thursday’s brilliant win, as we take on Hazlehurst Arms FC in a League Cup game. The lads will be looking to keep the momentum going and put in another strong performance tomorrow.

AFC Sundays are storming through the season with another win last night against Pioneer Sports Bar 🔥

What a performance from the lads, they worked hard from the first whistle to the last even with a depleted squad.

Frosty opened the scoring for us before Huey added another to put us in control.

An own goal from Pioneer made it 3, before the ball landed at the feet of our captain Joe Cass who rifled it into the top bins from 35 yards 🚀

Heler then finished off the scoring with our fifth and final goal of the game.

A quality game from start to finish, and a massive thank you to Pioneer Sports Bar for a great game!

Match details for Sunday will be up shortly, so keep an eye out. Thanks again to those who come down and support on the sidelines as we continue through the season 🙌🏼

The swans continue to be undefeated and are flying through the season with 4/4 wins and now sitting comfortably at the top 😮‍💨

AFC Sundays take on Pioneer Sports Bar this Thursday!

We faced Pioneer during pre-season, so we’re looking forward to getting back on the pitch against them. Both sides are currently sitting with 9/9 points, so this is definitely a game you don’t want to miss 👏🏻

Another win for AFC Sundays 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We started strongly, with Frosty taking an early chance to put us 1–0 up. Two corners followed, both brilliantly delivered by Jack Rowley, with Thomas Hossack meeting them well. One went straight in, while the second took a touch off Joshua Orr-Lang on its way in.

3–0 at half time and the lads were cruising 😮‍💨

Credit to AFC Stoke — they came out fighting and took advantage of a couple of chances to bring it back to 3–2.

After a few changes, the lads switched back on. Archie Ellams whipped a brilliant ball in from the left, which met perfectly in the air by Luke Bell to make it 4–2.

Then Frosty came back on, finding the net from the halfway line and bagging us our last goal like it was nothing 😎

We stormed into a 2-0 lead, with some tasty goals from Archie Ellams and Jack Maydew before we switched off and conceded 3 goals before half time.

The lads came out firing in the second half, took control and turned the game around to lead 7-3. Newcastle fought back late on to make it 7-5, but the swans held on for the win.

Credit to FC Newcastle Borough II — they pushed us all the way and made it a great game start to finish.

What a way to start the season. Well done boys, UP THE SWANS 👏🏻

The wait is over and it’s time to get started! The team are eager to get out on the pitch and kick start the season. Hoping to pick up right where we left off at pre season, with plenty of wins and plenty of clean sheets 👏🏻
