What a way to finish Fish North 2026!

A huge congratulations to Dale Shepherd, who is your Fish North 2026 Champion, taking the Final victory with a superb 226lb 11oz.

Congratulations also to Ryan Lidgard who finished runner-up with 216lb 05oz, and Rob Harbour who completed the top three with 189lb 05oz.

The Grand Final is upon us!

The SG Petch + Chery UK Fish North 2026 reaches its conclusion tomorrow, Saturday 29th August, as we head to the fabulous Forest Lane Fisheries, where 15 anglers will battle it out to be crowned the 2026 Fish North Champion.

There’s £10,000 for the winner, and this year the prize money goes down to the top 7 overall, alongside 3 section prizes — meaning 10 anglers out of the 15 finalists will be in the frame!

The Grand Final gets underway at 12 noon and fishes through until 5pm, with spectators welcome to come along and watch the action unfold.

Coverage throughout the Final is brought to you by Catch More Media, but first, we have the LIVE DRAW tonight!

If you’re in the area, you’re more than welcome to come down to Forest Lane Fisheries and join us for the draw, with food and drink available to purchase.

The SG Petch + Chery UK Fish North Semi-Final took place today, and once again it was incredibly tight for those all-important qualifying spots!

Congratulations to the top 15, who have now qualified for the Fish North Final next Saturday, 29th August.

Today's winner was Steve Openshaw, who produced a superb 133lb 13oz from peg 4 to take the win. Full results are attached.

SG Petch + Chery UK FISH NORTH 2026 – SEMI-FINAL
➡️➡️ SUNDAY 23rd AUGUST

Our final Fish North 2026 qualifier took place today, with Luke Hardcastle taking the honours and securing the final place in this year’s Semi-Final.

Luke put together an impressive 188lb 7oz from peg 34 on The Don to book his place. A big thank you to everyone who fished today and to every angler who has supported the Fish North qualifiers throughout 2026.

Attention now turns to this Sunday and the SG Petch + Chery UK Fish North 2026 Semi-Final at Forest Lane Fisheries, where 30 anglers will compete for just 15 places in the Grand Final on Saturday, 29th August 2026.

Competitors, please note that we will draw at 8.45am and fish from 11am to 4pm. Please make sure you have registered and paid before 8.30am. If you are running late, please let us know.

For the Semi-Final, it is £20 pools and a £10 optional superpool. Please also make sure you are familiar with the Fish North rules, including the 14.5m pole limit on The Arena Lake.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: No bank runners will be allowed for the Semi-Final due to the tight pe***ng.

The final qualifier is at Forest Lane Fisheries. THIS HAS SOLD OUT; however, if you are unable to attend, let us know, as we know others are asking about tickets!

Venue: Forest Lane Fisheries
Date: Friday 21st August 2026
Register: Pay Pools by 8.30am
Draw: 8.45-9am

If you cannot attend (PLEASE TELL US) or are running late, you need to notify us on 07770692683. If you're not attending, we will assume you won't be, and no peg will be available.

If this is your first time fishing at Fish North, you must register and pay your pools (£20 for the peg fee and daily payout and £10 optional superpool).

If you have not notified us that you are running late, then we will assume you are not fishing the match.

Fishing times for this match are 11am-4pm

Congratulations to our next qualifiers for SG Petch + Chery UK Fish North at Woodland Woodlands Tackle & Lakes Thirsk: Our winners today were Rob Harbour and Ryan Powell, who both booked a spot in the Fish North Semi-Final. Rob won Partridge with a weight of 205lb 7oz from peg 3, and Ryan won Skylark with a weight of 120lb 15oz from peg 29. Well done, lads.

Our last qualifier is this Friday, 21st August, at Forest Lane Fisheries, and 1 ticket is available on the website for this one, but we do know of someone else selling a ticket, so get in touch! It is the last chance to try and get through.
