We are proud to announce the appointment of assistant manager, Gregg McSwiggan 🙌

Gregg joins the wasps with great experience, having previously spent time at Kilmarnock Ladies, Glasgow Girls and Spartans (mens).

We are looking forward to what Gregg will bring to the team 🐝

4th PLACE FINISH - BIFFA SWFL WEST 2023 ⚽️

FT | Alloa 2 - 0 West Park Utd.

A fantastic game of football in the sunshine seen our team pick up the 3 points to take them into 4th place as the league concluded.

The team worked the ball, with confident passing and excellent switches of play. 100% effort from every player was given, winning individual battles which helped secure the 2 goals that would win us the game.

The first goal came from a brilliant build up with Heather Bundy being at the point of it once again. Megan Armstrong was on the end of the last bit of play to slot the ball home into the net and give Alloa the lead.

The second goal came from a set piece. A free-kick near the half way line took by Molly Williams saw the ball float over the back line of West Park, Cree Connell done well to win the header with their keeper getting vital fingers to it but Amy Cully had followed the ball in and secured the goal.

Two second half team goals seen Alloa get the win at home and finish the season strong! 👏

Every player has been a credit to themselves over this past mini season, overcame so many challenges and still managed to play with a smile! Well done to everyone 🧡🐝

We would like to invite you all to our final game of the season this Sunday at the Recs ⚽️

The game is lining up to be a good one as we battle for the 4th place spot!

All spectators are invited to join the team for refreshments after the game.

FT | Bishopton 0 - 2 Alloa

A strong team performance sees us pick up 3 points on the road for our final away game of the season. The team adapted to the challenges we faced and did not let anything impact our game.

Captain Abbie Trotter and Vice Captain Molly Williams took charge of the team today and led them to victory🤩

The first goal came from Amy Cully battling to win an over the top ball, which then allowed her to take a shot on goal and then Captain Abbie was there to slot in a rebound!

Heather Bundy was on point in the lead up to the second goal. A through ball seen Bundy drive up the left wing, beat her defender and play a driving ball across the box to which Alex Gray slotted into the net to secure our 3 points.

A fantastic team performance from all the players today, everyone made an impact and played with confidence.

Join us next Sunday at the Recs for our final game of the season. We will be battling West Park United for the 4th place spot, it’s sure to be good one! 🐝
