What a fantastic end to our first season.

We are fortunate enough to be part of more than just a football club but also a community….a community that constantly looks at things to do for the kids. Thanks to Jayne and her team at Wasp Community Club for putting together the big sleepover!!!

We spent our night playing football, singing, eating of weight in snacks and watching Scotland on the big screen.

Not much sleep for our lot and a lot of tired boys at the 7am wake up but we had a blast.

Tonight’s the night!!! I hope our boys have had plenty of sleep and are ready for the game tonight.

I hope the neighbours around the stadium have been equipped with ear plugs too 😂😂

Both Ryan and I will be there. Hopefully gets loads of videos and lots of pictures of them all.

And that’s a wrap for the wasps first competitive season! ⚽️

We welcomed the boys from Carbrain and started sharp as always. Plenty of chances and plenty of good runs of play for both teams!

Today we saw some amazing passing and teamwork all over the park. As well as some excellent driving forward both with skill and confidence!!! We’ve come a long way since that first nervous game in February…..

The boys played to a bigger home crowd today and it included family, friends and the rest of the team. Everyone not playing turned up to see the last game of the season - demonstrating the bond the team has and it was lovely to see them all supporting each other!!!

Lots to look forward to over the summer and next season.

For now the boys are going to enjoy their last few training sessions, fun nights and end of season celebration together before it’s all change next season.

Well done to all our boys for everything they have achieved this season. For all their hard work, for never giving up and for simply being the best little group of boys we could have asked for!!

Alloa Wasps CC versus Cumbernauld colts

Man Of The Match - 🏆 Ollie 🏆

A late kick off today for their last away game of the season!

The boys battled hard today and had some great shots on goal and periods of possession. Some fancy footwork too. We also bagged a couple of goals ⚽️

Plenty of action all over the park including a punch save and a then a triple save for our Ollie……he was on fire 🔥

It was great to see improvements in positioning as the boys kept their shape and communicated well with each other up and down the park.

We play our last game at home next week - if your not busy pop along to the recs and support the boys as they end their first season! We would love to see you there cheering them on.

As a parent, it truly had been amazing to see them grow and bond as a team. Everyone is a character who brings a different strength to the team. They’ve worked hard all year and we couldn’t be prouder of every member of our squad.

A first game throwback post!!!

As we approach our last two games of the season, I can’t quite believe how far the kids have came since their first game in February.

These kids have worked so hard every week and have really made all us parents and coaches proud ⭐️

The OGs are looking forward to finishing up their first season and welcoming all the new wasps to the team next season!!

Man Of The Match - 🏆 conlan 🏆

Another sunny home match for the wasps this morning as we hosted the boys from Garnkirk ⚽️

A fast paced Match from start to final whistle with plenty of action at both ends. Lots of really good goals and amazing saves!!! Lots of great passing and team working happening all over the pitch.

The boys should be so proud of not only their performance this morning but how far they have came since starting games in February. Every single boy turns up with the right attitude, puts in 100% effort and works hard.
