Last summer I was involved in a car crash where a man fell asleep and drove into me at 60mph! I was very lucky and escaped with minimal injuries apart from cuts, bruising and a punctured eye which has since healed. My car on the other hand had £28,700 of damage and was written off! :0( GUTTED!! Can’t put my finger on it but this really impacted my confidence in life and felt very low at times. Tra
ining was no longer appealing, nutrition drifted and I began gaining more weight over the winter, feeling sluggish, lethargic and even had a health scare with my bowel and gut health. This is where my attitude changed and I gave myself the biggest kick in the ass, written out my goals, training plans and grit the teeth and haven’t looked back since and never will. The impact on my health and body due to a negative mindset was wow!! I won’t go into the full details but the last 3-4 months has been the hardest ever for my wife and I. I truly believe if I was not firing on all cylinders with my own health and positive attitude to life then my support for my wife at these hard times would have been half assed!! I truly believe that a motivationally driven attitude doesn’t only create health benefits and physical changes within your own body but rubs off on others around you. It’s uplifting and noticeable and you can see this in every successful person out there. My wife now trains with me at home, eats very healthy and pays a lot of attention to her nutrition and she amazes me with how strong she has been and continuing to be for her family. It’s inspiring to me as the strength she has in herself in awesome. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a firm believer of “Everything in moderation, INCLUDING moderation” You have to let loose now and again and just live life to the max as it’s a gift and this is now the message I want to bring out not just my family but into the public. I want people to understand what we are all capable of with a healthy view to life through balanced nutrition and being active and motivating others. I know I keep mentioning mindset ALL the time but this is the trigger point to a healthy body, physical changes and goals. Strong mind and strong body only has one path and that is success. My goal is to push this message and help others develop the strength and mindset to achieve their goals with health and nutrition
