😔 BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE
⚽ Whitburn Ambers 5–2 AC Rovers Bellshill
With only 12 players available, it was a day when everything that could go wrong seemed to do so.
We weren’t at the races from the opening whistle. We were second to too many balls, didn’t stick to our game plan and Whitburn deservedly punished us.
Four goals down at half-time and having lost our No.1, Lewis McCartney, to a knee injury, the boys could easily have given up—but they didn’t.
They stepped up, battled together and produced a much-improved second-half performance. Two goals from Caden Quinn gave us something to build on, but the damage had already been done.
Credit to Whitburn Ambers on a deserved victory, and we wish Lewis a speedy recovery. 🩷🖤
We’ll learn from it, regroup and look to bounce back next week.
