Abingdon Town Amateur Boxing Club, Opened September 2022. We are a nonprofit able club that really wants to cater for all abilities.

Our aim is keep costs low see everyone is able to join our club. All our coaches meet England Boxings criteria.

🥊❤️ Celebrating the life of Cara-Jo ❤️🥊

As a community boxing club, we were truly blessed and honoured to be invited to celebrate the life of the beautiful Cara-Jo today.

It was a wonderful turnout, filled with laughter, smiles, memories and a real sense of togetherness. It was an all-round lovely day, and I’m sure Cara-Jo would have been looking down on everyone with the biggest smile on her face. ❤️

Cara-Jo was always such a little gem at the club. She worked so hard during her boxing sessions, always giving her best and showing that determination that made her so special. It was a real privilege to have her as part of our boxing family.

Today was a beautiful reminder of the impact she had on so many people and the memories she leaves behind. She will always have a special place in our club and in our hearts.

We also want to say a massive congratulations to all the competition winners! 🏆🥊 We hope you had a fantastic day, and hopefully we’ll see you all at the club soon!

A Heartfelt Thank You

We would like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to Chantelle for everything she has done for our community boxing club over the past 4 years.

Chantelle has given her time, energy and commitment through the many voluntary roles she has taken on, always going above and beyond to support our club and the people within it. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed and the difference she has made to our boxing family.

As Chantelle starts her new job, we want to wish her the very best of luck in this exciting new chapter.

Although she may be moving on to a new job, we know this definitely isn’t the last we’ll see of her! Chantelle will always be a part of our team and will always have a place within our club.

Thank you for everything, Chantelle — we truly appreciate you!

Time to Listen – Course Completion

We are pleased to recognise the successful completion of the Time to Listen course by Jessica Holton, Welfare Officer, and Paul Blair, Deputy Welfare Officer, at Abingdon Town Amateur Boxing Club.

This important training further strengthens our commitment to safeguarding, supporting the wellbeing of our members, and ensuring that our club remains a safe, welcoming and positive environment for everyone.

Congratulations, Jessica and Paul, on completing the course, and thank you for your continued dedication, professionalism and commitment to the welfare of our club members.
