I’m going to be running 2 FREE workshops in September! 🙌

Whether you’re returning to exercise after having a baby or you’re new to strength training, these workshops are designed to give you some practical guidance, build confidence and help you feel more comfortable with exercise.

💜 The Comeback Club Workshop – Postnatal Fitness & Returning to Exercise

The first workshop will focus all on postnatal fitness and returning to exercise.

We’ll look at safely building your core back up and how to programme your training to keep up with the demands of everyday life. Whether that’s getting the pram in the car, lifting and carrying your little one, or keeping up with the demands of parenthood.

📅 8th September

The second marks the return of the Women’s Strength Foundations Workshop.

If you’re new to strength training and need a bit of an introduction, this is the workshop for you. We’ll go through the foundations of strength training, demo and take part in exercises to help build confidence, and debunk some of the common myths you may have heard.

Ever walking into the gym, looked at the weights section and just headed back over to the treadmill?

I have many conversations over the years about this. You know lifting weights is good for you, short and long term, but then you think ‘what if I hurt my back?’ or ‘what if I look stupid?’ so you stick to your comfort zone, light weights and cardio.

The problem here is that if weight feels effortless, your body does have a reason to adapt or get stronger.

Now I don’t mean you have to come in and lift excessive amounts of weight on a barbell from day 1. It just means finding a weight that feels like a challenge for where you are at today and slowly adding a bit at a time the more you get used to it.

You don’t need to figure out on your own or worry about hurting yourself trying. As a coach my job is to show you have to move properly, meeting you at the level you are at, so you feel confident doing it.

If you want to stop second guess and want something that makes sense. Drop me a message or book in for a free consultation in the link in bio.

If you’ve never worked with a coach before it’s hard to know exactly what is going to happen.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the beginner sessions-

1- Quick Check-in + Mobility Prep (get ready and warm for the session).
2- The Main Bit- Focusing on 3/4 simple strength exercises focusing on form and control.
3- Cool down (answer any questions and run through pros of the session).

It’s nothing scary, honest!
All we are aiming to do is to build structure and confidence, not throwing you in the deep end.

The beginner kickstart is closing Monday 03/08, if you wanna join in drop me a message.

Laura here,

I grew up playing team sports, but when I first started going to a gym, I really struggled to get to grips with it. I often stuck to the cardio section but dreamt of lifting weights.

In a team, you have structure, direction and people around you. Walking onto the gym floor alone is completely different, it’s easy to feel lost, out of place and like everyone is watching you.

I know how overwhelming that feeling is, it’s the reason I coach the way I do.

I run 1-1 coaching in a quiet, private studio in Stanford in the Vale. No crowds, no waiting around for equipment and no pressure. My focus is helping women build strength, learn the right form and feel confidence in their training (and yes, cardio still has its place too!).

I still have a few spaces left for my 6-week beginner kickstart program.

If you’ve been wanting to get into or get back into strength training without the pressure of busy, chaotic gyms, drop me a DM any time.
