Origin Story
Hi 👋
Jack here at your service 🫡
Exercise & Nutrition hasn’t always been in my DNA 🧬 I grew up a fairly inactive kid until I discovered rugby from friends 🏉 From there, I put my heart and soul into being the best player I could be - stronger, faster, fitter. Then it all came crashing down…
❌ Injuries
❌ Burnout
❌ Exhaustion
I fell out of love with rugby and exercise 💔 I stopped doing the things I loved because I was tired of being injured and I was tired of being tired 😪 After a while:
Exercise went down📉
Weight went up ⬆️
I did the best I could to get back into the swing of it, I have bounced back and forth with:
➡️ Meal Replacement Shakes
➡️ Juice Diets/ Cleanses
➡️ Fasting
➡️ Calorie Counting
In short term, they worked and I saw results - but I always found myself struggling to maintain these types of diets and it would all come crumbling down 😢
I decided to take a chance on myself, pursue a career as a Personal Trainer because I wanted to know what actually does work and what doesn’t 🏋️♂️ 🏃♂️
This first step created a huge domino effect because to this point - I have been very grateful to have had opportunities that very few have:
➡️ Completed a ‘Rugby Development Apprenticeship’ with the Welsh Rugby Union 🏴
➡️ Go on to work as a ‘Community Outreach Officer’ with the Dragons RFC 🐉
But…it doesn’t stop there.
I love what I do and that is:
✅ Help others achieve what they want to do.
✅ Coach rugby, exercise/sport specific training and give advice where possible or help you find the best advice!
For me to continue to chase what I love to do, I’ve invested in myself and from September as well as being a PT - I will also be a student 🧑🎓 going back to Uni to complete a degree in ‘Sports Conditioning , Rehabilitation and Massage’ 🏃♂️🏋️♂️
