Congratulations to all of the 💚Abertillery U11s💚 that were presented with their ❤️Blaenau Gwent School District 🖤 cap on Friday evening at their presentation.

To represent their school at district level is a huge achievement and these kids have done it with pride, honour and given everything all season.

Huge congrats who also picked individual awards.

Thanks to all the coaches, TMs and Emma Gay, where, without you all, there would be no District!

No schools district for a couple of years now but keep smashing it for club next season!! Enjoy a well earned rest until you go again 💪🏻

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 PROUD CLUB MOMENT 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Huge congratulations to Bradley Cripps who pulled on the East Wales jersey for the 50th anniversary of Welsh Schools Rugby Union vs West Wales.

Brad has been a stalwart for our club and captained his district team this season with real poise, professionalism and leadership. Seeing him run out in his first Welsh kit was a very proud moment for everyone involved here. We’re incredibly proud of you Brad 💚

Special mention also to Xander Tear of RFC who represented East Wales through the BG Schools district programme. Brilliant achievement Xander and well domestically from everyone at Abertillery BG U11s RFC.

Well done lads. Can’t wait to see you both keep pushing on for the rest of your careers 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏉

Fantastic day at Blackwood RFC yesterday for the Jack Thomas Games charity match.

1 minute silence was held before the game to remember Jack … Lots of money raised for C.R.Y & the team were presented with his beautiful plaque with a photo of Jack in his honour. What a lovely touch! Thank you Blackwood RFC ❤️

Our under 11’s were tested by a very strong Blackwood side.. they put on a very strong performance and managed to secure the win! 🏆
