Disappointing afternoon for our seniors with everyone losing.

Callum Wright’s 76th minute penalty only proving a consolation in the 1st team defeat.

Cwm Wanderers U12 5-8 Ynysygerwn U12 (AET)

The U12s progressed to the semi final of the Division B cup with an extra time win over Cwm Wanderers.

The home side raced into a 2-0 lead, before Ynys seemed to be heading for the semi finals. Goals from Jenson Mainwaring (2) & Alfie Richards (2) put Ynys 2-4 ahead.

The home side fought back to force extra time.

Ynys retook the lead through Alfie Richards only to be pegged back again, but further goals from Richards, Mainwaring and one from Jenson Williams seen the youngsters progress to the next round.

A Fantastic win yesterday for the first team as they inflicted Cardiff Corries to just their 3rd league defeat of the season, as we moved 7 points ahead of the relegation zone.

2 goals from top scorer Brad Crooks, as well as goals from Ethan Wright and Josh Davies helped Ynys to a 2-4 win in the capital.

The reserves went down 8-1 to Baglan where Ben Colwill grabbed a consultation goals.

The U13s moved to third with a home win over Ystradgynlais this morning.

Ynys raced into a 3-0 lead at Half time before Ystrad reduced the arrears just after half time, before the 13’s struck back with two more goals

Ystradgynlais U12 2-9 Ynysygerwn U12s (Pictured)

The 12s remain the only unbeaten side in the Under 12s B Division.

They flew out the blocks this morning and were 5 goals ahead at the interval.

Three quick goals in 10 minutes made it 0-8 before Ystrad responded with 2, before top scorer Alfie Richards grabbed his 5th of the game and 29th of the season in the past minute.
