Months and years of preparation and consistent hard work and it vanished.. Just like that.

2 days before my flight to the Olympics I got very sick! My doctor and I hoped that we could change the tides and improve the situation before the Olympic Games kicked off! But unfortunately, my body was not able to give its 100%.

Wow.. it has definitely been an extraordinary journey! " I'm honoured to call myself an double Olympian and to have proudly represented my country. I should be so damn proud, as much as it hurts SO MUCH, to not walk away with what I've worked extremely hard for.
There's some reason behind EVERYTHING that happens, God's plans are always for the best as much, although I might not fully comprehend it now.

A Big Thanks to all my sponsors, coaches, my family and everyone who has been on this journey with me.

Paris Olympic Games 2024, I’m coming!
I’m proud to say that I’ve earned my spot at the Olympic Games for the second time!
This past year has been a rollercoaster with its fair share of injuries, but I dug deep and powered through.
I made it for the people who were there for me! I want to express my deepest gratitude to my family for their unwavering support. Your encouragement meant the world to me. To my friends, you know yourselves you were my motivation, pushing me to persevere when times got tough.
This journey was anything but easy, but I can’t wait to represent my country on the biggest sporting stage.
Now, it’s time to take care of myself, and my mental health.
I'll definitely be taking some rest and making a checklist of the best croissants in Paris 🥐.
