One thing I have learned over the years in skincare is that it is never only about the product.

In the laboratory where Le Sérum Élixir is produced, one principle is non-negotiable. Some global cosmetic groups state that they do not test their products or ingredients on animals, yet they remain present in markets where certain cosmetic products may be subject to animal testing by local health authorities. PETA, applying a stricter cruelty-free standard, considers this incompatible with true cruelty-free certification.
For us, the line is simpler. None of our products will ever be commercialized in a market, or under a regulation, that requires animal testing as a condition of access. This is not a strategic decision. It is not a commercial positioning. It is an ethical line, and it comes before growth, territory, or visibility.
Our formulation practice rests on the encounter between the living plant and living skin. "Le vivant recréant le vivant sur le vivant" "The living recreating the living upon the living." This coherence admits no exception.
