Mike’s Story

Mike has been coaching for 18 years with a variety experience; Mike’s coaching career started in Leicestershire in 2001. Mike has been the head coach at four clubs/academies and for the last six years, Mike has been a travel coach and tennis analyst to several players on the professional tour. Mike has travelled with players from ITF futures through to grand slams in both singles and doubles. Alongside this, he has helped several British players achieve US college scholarships. Mike currently specialises in tennis strategy supporting coaches and academies worldwide for their players with match reports, season data and scouting key opponents. Mike hold a dual role within Claudio Pistolesi Enterprise as Travelling Coach on the ATP/WTA Tour & Strategy Analyst for several ATP/WTA Players. Mikes coaching philosophy is based on three core values: • Commitment • Respect • Trust “I have a holistic approach to working with players.” “Firstly you need to know the player as a person and understand what it takes to get the best out of them, open communication is important throughout their journey” Mike provides hourly, half day and full day coaching & offers substantial off-court support and guidance either via email, Skype, telephone and face to face contact. He is available for individual or group support worldwide, Strategy support & Travelling.
