Our last day on Part 1 of our adventure🚐 🛳️

88 days (and probably the same number of baguettes☺️🥖)

3 countries 🇫🇷 🇵🇹 🇪🇸

Nearly 5300 miles (I don't even want to work out how much the fuel cost 🤨) but worth every euro 👍😁

64 stopovers at campsites, free aires, camper stops, beaches and lakes

Been to cities, towns, lakes, beaches, mountains, rivers, villages 💞 and had all sorts of weather 🌞🥶💨💦

Some wonderful flowers, birds and animals, especially the bee-eaters 🌺🌴🌵 🦜🦩 🦚 🐴 🦎 🦀 🐬 🦋 🦭

Thousands of photos and videos that we need to sort through at some point 😆

We have had an incredible time, and have met some wonderful, kind people and seen some amazing sights.

Thanks to everyone who liked and left such lovely comments on my posts 💖

A week at home to see family and friends, then off to Scotland for the start of Part 2 👌😁 xx

I've given up on Keeping up with the Joneses (in case you hadn't noticed 😆) FB was nagging me every 5 minutes pushing for content, it was really annoying, so all our travels and photos are on my usual FB xx 😎🚌🌴🌺⛱️

We made it!! Finally got over the channel 🛳️🚌 and now relaxing in the van at the lovely Merlimont just down from Calais. Did our first shop and remembered some French! 👍😆 Exploring to do at the magnificent beach in the morning with Meg and Lottie and some pics to follow 🥖🍷xx

Left home yesterday and drove past the site of last week's terrifying breakdown on the 'smart' motorway, they should ban them, so so dangerous. Just 2 days after our experience, someone was killed on this stretch.

A lovely, calm night spent at Black Horse Inn, Folkestone before our visit to Abbeywell vets to collect the dogs Animal Health Certificates.

Last week we were getting packed ready to start our 3 month trip to France, Spain and Portugal, and on Friday we drove off in the spring sunshine full of excitement for the adventure ahead 🚐🌞😎 Suddenly we lost all power and ended up being towed to the garage back home 😫 🤦Hoping for some good news today from the auto electrician and we can start our trip again very soon 🤞😆 xx
