A perfect example of a family enjoying all we have to offer here at Lac de Beaute. Grandad did a spot of fishing, Nana relaxed and soaked it all in while Grandson John, splashed in the pool and enjoyed a couple of circuits of the meadow on the Quad with Grandad. Loved it so much, booked two weeks for next year already. Thank you Neil, Susan and John and we look forward to seeing you again next June. Exciting News. Now that we have completed all major projects and urgent maintenance, our next step is to introduce more stock to the lake and compliment what we have already. After much research (and speaking to other lake owners etc. who have had stock from them previously, (thank you Steve and Charlie) we have now ordered approx 30 head of Carp (mirror and common) from a reputable Hungarian fish farm who specialise in breeding fast growing varieties. Fish ordered will be around the 30lb mark with delivery expected early 2024 (after our annual netting to remove smaller fish) so plenty of time to feed them into chunks before next summer season. For those who have already booked for next year, we hope you enjoy our investment but there are still weeks available for new guests and previous guests (many of whom are firm friends now) to enjoy them too. Lac de Beaute in the Pays de la Loire is the perfect venue for a family holiday, combining fishing, relaxing and plenty to see nearby to keep everyone happy and just two hours from Caen.

We have a small above ground swimming pool, free wi-fi , English TV all in a beautiful setting ideal to relax with the rods and a drink or two whilst the kids play.

The nearest town with shops and supermarkets is within a 5 minute drive. Restaurants and take-aways are nearby too.
Enjoy a day out in the historic city of Le Mans, a short drive away, and visit the museum at the world famous Le Mans circuit – well worth it!!
The beautiful Chateau du Lude and the Zoo at La Fleche are within easy reach plus there’s lots more to explore in the area.
For the fisherman, the lake is well stocked with Carp upto 51lb, Sturgeon upto 63lb, Grass Carp, a Koi, Koi Hybrid and two or three large catfish.
To save on luggage space, each swim is equipped with cradle, sling and net plus we offer FREE use of rod, rod pods, swingers and rests and a bivvy/bed chair if you fancy a spot of night fishing without disturbing the family (a small refundable deposit applies)
We still have some availability for 2023 and are now taking bookings for 2024.

We know how tough it is out there at the moment and as we still have some availability for September 2023, we have decided to offer these weeks with a monthly payment option.
So for example:-
A week lake exclusive on a Drive and Survive for upto 4 anglers is £850 , this equates to 6 monthly payments of £141.66 (for a group of 3 anglers this is only £47.22 per person per month)
Lake exclusive and accommodation in our modern, fully equipped, two bedroom static is £1,000 per week, this equates 6 monthly payment of £166.66 (for a family of four this is only £41.66 per person per month)

We are also offering free tackle hire to reduce the need for a second car or trailer which add to the travel costs :-
We have Rods, Rod Pods, Swingers, Rests, Bivvy’s and Bed Chairs available (slings, cradles and nets are already provided at each swim) just bring your own reels and end tackle - bait is also available to purchase at the lake too.

With high travel costs adding to the price of holidays at the moment, we are pleased to offer FREE tackle hire for week exclusive bookings, with or without accommodation. We hope that this will reduce the need for a costly second car or a trailer!
Each of the four pegs can now be equipped with bivvy, bed chair, 3 rods, rod pod, rests and swingers all free of charge (a refundable deposit applies)
Also available tripod and scales plus we have bait boat available to hire. We already provide slings, cradles and nets and bait can be bought here at the lake
So, you just need to bring your own end tackle, reels and bite alarms.
Drive and Survive for upto 4 anglers is £850 in total including facilities in the fishermans static or with the accommodation in the modern two bedroom static £1,000 in total. Both statics are lakeside and just a few meters from the swims. We can also accommodate parking at each of the swims too.
