Mounted Games is a type of Equestrian competition which encourages riders of all ages and abilities to compete. The games have an emphasis on speed as the first rider to complete the 60 metre course is the winner. However, the games also test the rider's horsemanship skills, hand-eye coordination, agility and teamwork. The games vary from speed to agility and accuracy with competitions for individuals, pairs and teams of 4-5. Mounted Games is a good alternative to other Equestrian clubs as there is no age limit. Therefore, encouraging people to continue riding into their senior years. The NSW Mounted Games Association has a big emphasis on family fun with mums and dads regularly competing with their children. You do not need any experience to compete in Mounted Games as competitions divide riders into groups based on age, experience and ability. We also conduct regular training clinics where experienced trainers and riders pass on their knowledge to new riders and help to hone the skills of more advanced members. We’ve just come back from watching and competing in Mounted Games in France — now it’s time to bring the fun home to **Hall, ACT!**

📅 **Saturday 5 September – Individuals**
📅 **Sunday 6 September – Pairs**

You can come for **ONE or BOTH DAYS**

Want to ride Pairs but don’t have a partner? **Enter anyway and we’ll do our best to organise a partner for you.**

Never tried AMGA Mounted Games before? Even better.

Last week seen the end of the IMGA World Teams championships in Lamotte-Beuvron France. It was a very Hot week for our aussie competitors, so well done everyone for giving it your all. It’s a huge achievement to travel so far and compete on the world stage on ponies you’ve only just met. Congratulations everyone.

Hey Members, sadly due to low numbers with members either away or having other commitments, our Triple Crown and Teams weekend has been cancelled. Our apologies to all. The TC will now be held as an Indis comp in Wonoona on the 19th - 20th September. Next up on the calendar though is our Friendly Indis & Teams Weekend at Hall in the ACT on September 5 & 6th 👏
