Anyone interested in fishing this little gem of a lake with some cracking fish please message Bob direct. He has worked so hard the last 5 years growing his fish and making a fisherman's lodge. Beautiful surroundings, well worth a trip.

Forest Pool is no longer operating as a commercial venue but just down the road is this little gem.

Well, that's a wrap.
After 20 years of owning and running a Carp fishery in France my final guests have left and Forest Pool is no more.
I would sincerely like to thank all the wonderful guests and friends that have supported my business and for the memories made, its been an amazing experience.
It's now time for the next chapter in the book of my life.

In the many, many years I've been involved with lakes this morning was a magical moment. David is 82, unable to walk any great distance so relies on a mobility scooter but that doesn't stop him enjoying his passion for fishing.
We were lucky enough to film him this morning catching one of our smaller Commons but the joy it brought us all was huge.
Take a minute to watch a master at work, David you are an inspiration to all Carp Anglers.

A first time visit for the lovely Lambert family. Here's a few pics of some of the carp they caught last week. 15 year old Enzo stole top rod with a smashing 42lb 12oz, a talented young angler.
