The Black Dove Rugby Club has officially begun its journey with a traditional sevusevu presentation to the landowners, the village, and the respected elders of the community.
Club management and players gathered to honor the vanua with the ceremony, which served as a gesture of respect and gratitude, while also seeking the blessings and approval of the elders to establish the club on their land.
The elders graciously accepted the sevusevu, expressing their joy and support for the formation of the team. They emphasized the importance of the initiative in providing opportunities for young men to grow and succeed, both in rugby and in life.
With the endorsement of the vanua, Black Dove Rugby Club expressed its appreciation and pledged to uphold the values of discipline, unity, respect, and service as it works to strengthen both the team and the wider community
