On Wednesday, 29th July 2026, the PPP Naila Rugby Club gathered with the family, friends, and loved ones of our late Chairman to lay him to his final resting place.

As we bid farewell, we also paid tribute to his unwavering service, dedication, and commitment to our club. His leadership, humility, and passion for the PPP Naila Rugby Club have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire our players, officials, and supporters for many years to come.

On behalf of the President, executives, players, members, and our sponsor, Proud Pacific Processing Pte Ltd, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for everything he contributed to the growth and success of our club.

May the Almighty grant him eternal rest, and may his soul rest in everlasting peace. You will always remain a cherished part of the PPP Naila Rugby Club family.

Last night, the PPP Naila Rugby Club, together with our major sponsor, Proud Pacific Processing Pte Ltd, had the privilege of presenting our Reguregu to the family of our late Chairman, Mr. Solomone Naisoro, at his residence as a mark of our deepest respect, love, and heartfelt condolences.

On behalf of the PPP Naila Rugby Club, we extend our sincere gratitude to the Director and Owner of Proud Pacific Processing Pte Ltd, Mr. Vimal Ram, for his unwavering support and compassion during this difficult time. Your generosity and commitment to standing alongside our club and the Naisoro family are deeply appreciated.

We also wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the company's Fiji representative, Manager Growth Liaison Personal & Government Agency Liaison, Ms. Linda Fong and her two colleagues who joined us last night. Your presence was a great source of comfort and reflected the strong partnership and family spirit shared between Proud Pacific Processing Pte Ltd and the PPP Naila Rugby Club.

Our sincere thanks also go to our Club President, Mr. Ilaisa Laqere, our committee members, players, and everyone who contributed their time, effort, and support in making last night's Reguregu a meaningful and respectful occasion. Your unity, compassion, and willingness to honour our late Chairman exemplify the values that define our club.

The funeral service for our beloved late Chairman, Mr. Solomone Naisoro, will be held on Wednesday, 29 July 2026. The church service will take place at the ANCF Horeb Church, Cautata, after which his body will be taken to Naila, where he will be laid to rest.

As a final gesture of gratitude and respect for his dedicated service and leadership, the PPP Naila Rugby Club has been given the honour of preparing his final resting place. Our players and members will prepare his grave, symbolising our deep appreciation for the years of commitment, guidance, and love he gave to our club. It is a privilege for us to perform this final act of service for a man who gave so much to the PPP Naila Rugby Club family.

As we continue to mourn the passing of Mr. Solomone Naisoro, we remain grateful for the overwhelming support shown by our sponsors, members, friends, and the wider community. Your prayers, kindness, and encouragement have brought strength and comfort to us all during this time of sorrow.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that PPP Naila Rugby Club announces the passing of our beloved Chairman, Talatala Qase Solomone Naisoro, who passed away peacefully yesterday morning at CWM Hospital.

Talatala Qase Solomone was more than a Chairman—he was a visionary leader, a faithful servant of God, a mentor, and a father figure to many within our club and community. His wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the growth of our players and the values of rugby will forever remain part of our club's foundation.

He dedicated his time and energy to guiding our club with integrity, encouraging our young men to become not only better rugby players but also better people. His vision of unity, discipline, faith, and service inspired everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Today, we mourn the loss of a remarkable leader, but we also celebrate a life that touched so many hearts. His legacy will continue to live on through every player, official, supporter, and family member of PPP Naila Rugby Club.
