The Nadi Rugby Referees Youth Group wishes to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Youth and the Honourable Minister for their generous donation of a tent to our group.

This tent will be a great asset for our organized games, community activities, family gatherings and other events. It is also available for hire, creating opportunities to support the work of our youth group and association.

This marks a significant milestone as the first ever Youth Wing of the Nadi Rugby Referees Association. Our young members have already made a positive impact through community clean up campaigns and their dedicated support during our weekly rugby games in Nadi. Our aim is simple: to utilize the talents and energy of our youth to do good, helping our association, our families, and the wider Nadi community.

NADI RUGBY REFEREES ASSOCIATION – ANOTHER PROUD WEEKEND OF SERVICE

This weekend marks another significant achievement for the Nadi Rugby Referees Association as we once again successfully covered all rugby matches within our region while extending our support beyond Nadi through our Referee Exchange Program with Ba Rugby Referees.

With the second day of Club Games action at Kings Charles Park, our dedicated match officials took charge of the highly anticipated challenge matches in the Dr. Naidu Vuniwai Trophy, Deii Trophy Challenge and the TISA Insurance Challenge. These prestigious appointments reflect the hard work, commitment, and development of our officials over the years. Truly, these are the fruits of the investment made in nurturing and developing our referees.

Adding to this achievement, seven of our match officials have been appointed to officiate in the Nadi Secondary Schools Deans Competition, further strengthening the growth of school rugby and supporting the development of the Nadi Secondary Schools Referees Association.

As part of our ongoing partnership and exchange program, three Nadi match officials were also deployed to Ba to assist the Ba Rugby Referees Association, continuing to build stronger relationships and raise officiating standards across the Western Division.

To every referee, assistant referee, replacementmangers, referee coaches and volunteers who continues to serve the game with professionalism and passion, vinaka vakalevu to you. Your commitment ensures that rugby continues to thrive in our communities.

Referee Exchange Program – Week 4

The Nadi Rugby Referees Association is proud to continue its Referee Exchange Program with the Nadroga Rugby Referees Association as we enter Week 4 of this exciting initiative.

This program provides valuable opportunities for referees to officiate in different rugby environments, share experiences, learn from one another and further develop their skills both on and off the field. It also strengthens the relationship between our two associations while promoting consistency and excellence in match officiating.

Most importantly, the exchange program contributes to the growth of the game by ensuring that players, coaches and spectators benefit from quality refereeing and continuous referee development.

A sincere vinaka vakalevu to the Nadroga Rugby Referees Association for their partnership and support. Together, we are helping raise the standard of rugby officiating in Fiji.
