Our Fiji Chess Team is on its way to Samarkand, Uzbekistan, to represent Fiji at the 46th World Chess Olympiad!

Swami Vivekananda College students win top spots at 2026 August Rapid Chess Tournament.

Huge congratulations to our flawless champion, Ricardo Peter, who dominated the field with a perfect 6/6 score! closely followed by Krish Sinha in second place, and Narko Auto in third place.

​What an unforgettable day of tactical battles, brilliant sacrifices, and high-stakes strategy at the University of Fiji! The 2026 August FIDE-Rated Rapid Tournament, hosted by the Nadi Chess Club, brought together an incredible lineup of brilliant minds.
