One of the strangest cars in Swedish Supernational rallycross is looking for a new owner.

Zeth Enarsson has announced that his Hyundai i30 will be for sale after his season ends on 6 September. Originally built by Mattias Ohlsson, the rear-wheel-drive Hyundai features a newly built Nyrönen 16-valve engine, Sellholm MPG Mini gearbox, Volvo 940-based rear axle, Sellholm suspension components, three-way Öhlins rear dampers and Wilwood brakes.

A spare donor car, body moulds and additional composite panels are also available.

For anyone wanting something different from the usual BMW or Volvo, this is certainly one way to stand out.

Lancia is returning to Euro RX with Hélder Ferreira and the new Ypsilon Rally4 HF at Lousada but when did Lancia last compete in the European Rallycross Championship?

The answer is 2004.

Back then, today's Supercar category was known as Division 1 and several Lancia Delta Integrales were still competing against the increasingly modern machinery of the era.

Austrian rallycross legend Alois Höller was perhaps the best-known Lancia driver, while Pavel Korčák, Grzegorz Kalinecki, Vladimír Pačka and Ralph Wilhelm also raced the Italian machinery during the same season.

GCK did bring Lancia back to international rallycross with its electric Delta Evo-e RX programme in World RX in 2022 and 2023, but for Euro RX specifically, the wait has lasted 22 years and now the Delta makes way for the Ypsilon.

RallyX Americas is getting a familiar European addition at Trois-Rivières this weekend.

Nova Motorsport's ACB11 will make its RallyX Americas debut, with every FC2 in the Supercar category using the same tire compound that has been raced in RallyX across Europe.

The ACB11 itself is no stranger to Trois-Rivières, with the compound previously used at the Canadian event during the World RX era under the Cooper Tires brand.

This weekend, however, will mark its first appearance on an FC2 Supercar on North American soil.

The inaugural FIA Rallycross World Cup in Jakarta is going to look very different from traditional rallycross.

The FIA has revealed the new track and sporting format for the December event, with Jakarta's Formula E venue being transformed into a 60 percent tarmac and 40 percent gravel rallycross circuit featuring a jump and banked second corner.

Superpole will replace the traditional Q1 draw, every race will feature two mandatory joker laps that cannot be taken consecutively and the weekend will culminate with eight-car semi-finals and an eight-car, six-lap final.

A genuine piece of Ekström family rallycross history is currently up for sale.

The 1993 factory BMW Motorsport E36 shell is advertised primarily for its BTCC and Super Touring history, but there is another important chapter missing from the listing.

This was the four-door BMW used by Bengt Ekström, father of 2016 World RX champion Mattias Ekström, during the final part of his rallycross career.

It replaced his controversial two-door E36 after the 1995 season due to homologation issues, before Bengt continued racing the four-door car in Sweden until ending his career.

After spending years stored with an owner in Norway and appearing for sale on several occasions, the surviving shell has now surfaced again in Klaipėda.
