University of Jyväskylä is carrying out a study using virtual reality for athletes training. Virtual Vuokatti in the video is based on the famous Olympic winter sport center in Finland. At first Athletes cross country skied in the real environment and then roller skied the same route on a large treadmill with virtual scene. Treadmill speed and angle were synchronized to follow the real route changes.
