🥎 Do you have experience in cricket, baseball, or pesäpallo? Softball could be for you!

Softball is growing in Finland – and now’s the perfect time to get involved and join our friendly and international club before the 2026 season. Players are welcome no matter their experience level, also complete beginners! Any female aged 15+ can join!

👉 Come try softball with us on Wednesday 8.4 or Sunday 12.4

If you already have some experience playing cricket, baseball, or pesäpallo, many of your skills transfer naturally to softball — hitting, throwing, fielding, and game awareness. Other sport experience also welcome!

By joining a softball club, you can develop quickly and potentially compete internationally with the Ladybears!

Last weekend some Sandstorm players joined the Inaugural Baseball5 Helsinki Open tournament hosted by . We plan to incorporate a bit more Baseball5 in future Sandstorm trainings this season as it’s a great way for new players to be introduced to softball 😄🥎

Players involved in the tournament were part of , Puumat Baseball Helsinki, Helsinki Devils Baseball, Tampere Tigers and Saku 🇪🇪

Excited to announce there will be a Summer camp for softball and baseball - open for kids aged 7-13, and it will be held in Helsinki from 2-6 June! 🥎⚾️

Kids will be introduced to the basics of baseball and softball in a fun and encouraging environment under the guidance of experienced coaches.

📣 Join Sandstorm’s “Bring a Friend” Softball Training on the 4th of December at Pallomylly from 20-21:30

We will have a fun open practice for women in the Helsinki area to try out the sport 🥎 It doesn’t matter if you don’t know the rules (yet) or much about the sport. All you need to do is show up with your exercise clothes and an open mind to learn…and might as well bring along some extra friends to have even more fun 😄 Instruction will be given in 🇫🇮 & 🇺🇸 and all equipment will be provided.
