Ethiopian Athletes Secure Wins in Global Marathons

Ethiopian athletes demonstrated their competitive prowess in recent World Athletics Gold Label Road races, securing victories in marathons held in Seoul, South Korea, Spain, and Valencia.
In the Valencia Marathon, Tesfaye Diriba claimed the men's title with a time of 2:04:13, finishing ahead of Kenyan runners who occupied the second through fifth positions. In the women's race, Kenya's Sharon Chelimo took first place, while Ethiopia's Birgual Melesse finished second with a time of 2:20:47.
