The Rock Climbing Company offers high quality mountaineering and climbing instruction for all ages and all levels of experience. We cover all the rock climbing disciplines and mountain skills such as sport and traditional climbing, mountain scrambling and navigation as well as performance coaching and Via Ferrata. We arrange tailored rock climbing and mountaineering instruction delivered at a pace

you are comfortable with, teaches you what you want to know and gives you an exciting experience that you will remember for a long time. All our climbing courses are personalized and every course is constructed around your individual needs and delivered within a safe and interesting framework.

New Open Climbing Course in El Chorro: 10 - 11 & 12 March 2026

Join us for a 3-day open climbing course in the stunning cliffs of El Chorro
The limestone walls offer great routes for learning new skills and confidence building in a safe environment.

Dates: 10–11–12 March 2026
Meeting point: the Olive Branch El Chorro
Meeting Time: 10:30 each morning

This course is designed for climbers who want structured instruction in movement, belaying, route reading, and safety systems. Small groups ensure focused coaching and technical feedback.

All technical equipment can be provided.
Limited spaces available.
Reserve your place and climb on real rock in one of Andalucía’s most iconic climbing destinations.

Hola Amigos!

September has been a great month for the Rock Climbing Company in Spain & North Wales…

We had some lovely mountain days with Max in Snowdonia, sport climbing tours & via ferrata in El Chorro with María and great multipitch days with Silvi in Asturias.
The cool weather has now arrived and we will be meeting for more climbing action at the Olive Branch BnB in El Chorro every day from October. We hope to see you there soon!

We are having a great summer and many different climbing activities are taking place in all our locations: from El Chorro & Villanueva del Rosario in the south of Spain to Asturias and the Vasque Country in the noth of Spain and of course where it all started: the beautiful Snowdonia in North Wales.
Guided climbing & via ferrata, outdoor bouldering, climbing skills courses and even water fun “apres climbing”to finish it all off nicely …
