Foressos Individual Stableford
21st August 2023.

Another great day of golf was had by all at Foressos even though the greens were "REALLY BAD". We have been told by the course manager that it could take up to two years to totally free them of the horrible strong almost w**d like grass that has infested itself around the course......
However that didn't stop some players shooting the lights out with some high scores.
Birthday Girl Anemone adorned her pink chariot decorated by yours truly and everyone wished her a happy birthday....and thankyou Anemone for the tradition of feeding us at the end with a slice of your gorgeous cake. 🍰😘.

Today at Foressos we played an Individual Stableford Competition.
35 players went out and had to battle against a stiff breeze, the winners came in with some great scores and the handicap guillotine will fall on a few players as you will see in the winners gallery.

2nd May Two man texas scramble at the stunning La Galiana Golf Course.
25 players teed off with a shotgun start at 10am.
One player had to fly solo playing 2 balls for all 18 holes, Tim Olsen kindly took up the challenge, thanks Tim.
A humid start was followed by a cooling breeze after a few holes and then turned into a 15-20km wind by close of play.... Unfortunately the greens were a tad slow, the course are trying to promote some growth to the roots due to a disease they had in them over the last 4/5 months... but I'm sure when we return next month they will be back to like putting on a snooker table.
It didn't stop the teams from shooting some impressive scores....
Tim played a superb game off 2, and love was in the air 👩‍❤️‍👨👩‍❤️‍👨 for our two husband and wife teams of John and Rhona, Franz and Anemone who both made the winners circle. Apologies to Steve and Roman for no photo of thier pretty faces.....
