A year in which the virus knocked me out at the end of 2024 and that's why I had to leave the tour. There was only one chance to get to the world championships in good shape, start again and only think about this race that I have been dreaming about since May 1, 2023. With expectations that said I could be among the top 20, I had to rethink my goals again. Today I could not even imagine a finish like this: we are back in the top 30 in front of 100,000 people in the cradle of cross-country skiing. A fall has not allowed me to be further ahead but today, I can only be satisfied to return to the level that belongs to me and with a team that, despite being small, has fought against the big teams.

Un año en el que el virus me dejó fuera de combate a finales de 2024 y por eso tuve que abandonar el tour de esqui. Solo había una oportunidad de llegar en buena forma al mundial, empezar de nuevo y pensar solo en esta carrera con la que sueño desde el 1 de mayo de 2023. Con unas expectativas que decían que podía estar entre los 20 primeros, tuve que volver a replantearme mis objetivos. Hoy ni me imaginaba un final asi, volvemos a estar entre los 30 primeros delante de 100.000 personas en la cuna del esquí de fondo. Una caída no me ha permitido estar más adelante pero hoy solo puedo estar satisfecho de volver al nivel que me corresponde y con un equipo que pese a ser pequeño ha luchado contra los grandes.
Gracias a todos los que han hecho posible que estuviese aqui hoy, día inolvidable.
