Can we please retire the idea that living off-grid means choosing to struggle financially? 😂🌿

Somewhere along the way, we've romanticised the idea that if you choose a simpler life, you should also accept having less money.

I don't buy it.

Yes, I want to grow my own food.

Yes, I want to collect eggs from my chickens.

Yes, I want to live closer to nature and further from the chaos.

But I also want to travel.

I want to improve our homestead.

I want to replace the batteries without stressing.

I want to say yes to experiences with my girls.

I want choices.

And I don't think there's anything "unspiritual" or "un-off-grid" about that.

For me, real freedom isn't just living outside the system... it's having the income to stay there.

That's why I built an online business.

Not because I wanted more stuff.

But because I wanted more freedom.

Eight years ago, I was exactly where you are now.

My mission isn't to create six-figure entrepreneurs.

My mission is to help women realise they don't have to settle for a life that doesn't feel like theirs.

I want women to know that there are other ways to live.

That you don't have to wait until retirement to experience freedom.

That you don't have to stay in a job that drains you just because it feels "safe."

Living off grid changed me.
In fact the change started way before we actually moved off the grid when I was around 21 years old.

In my teen years I am not going to lie, I loved partying, going out, being with my friends, I loved to have a drink, smoke w**d, I worked in night clubs, stayed up and stayed out light, just had the best time.

But as I started to get older and into my 20's I started to really question the system. I started to look at my future and how I was supposed to 'get a job', 'get a mortgage', 'get in debt', 'sit in traffic all day' and become a clone of EVERYONE else and follow that route until retirement .... it used to make me feel ill.

I would try to talk to people about it but they thought I was crazy, called me a conspiracy theorist and called me lazy for not wanting to get a 9-5.

So I changed.

I let go of friendships that no longer served me.
I let go on the party girl version of myself,
and I started to design an off the grid life that felt aligned to me.

When you let go of a version of yourself and step into a new identity it can be tough, it's a death and rebirth and it can be painful.

When designing my off grid life the thing that I didn't really consider was how to make an income, I thought off grid living meant I no longer needed or wanted money - that I was wrong.

Now I help women create and online business aligned to their souls to allow them to thrive off-the-grid, to allow them to live their dream life!

Moving off-grid didn't magically set us free!!
Here's the part of our off-grid story I don't think I've spoken about enough...

We followed the dream.
We moved to Spain.
We bought an off-grid home in the mountains.
We escaped the rat race.

And then...
We still struggled financially.

Two years into our off-grid life, the pandemic hit.
Our retreat business didn't work out.
Tourism stopped.
We couldn't get the licence we needed.
And here's the thing nobody really tells you...
Living off-grid still costs money.
Batteries need replacing.
Cars break.
Tools cost money.
Land needs managing.
Homes need renovating.
Unexpected expenses STILL show up.

We were borrowing money from family.
I was constantly worrying about money.
And with two children, I reached a point where I thought...
I don't want to survive anymore. I want to THRIVE.

Working online felt like our best option.
We lived remotely.
The language was a barrier.
We lived in a low-income area.
And I genuinely believed I had no skills to offer.
But the alternative was potentially selling our Spanish off-grid home and going back to the UK.

So I just fu*kin started.
I messaged friends and family asking if anyone knew of any online work.
Within a week, I landed my first client doing recruitment for an AMAZING summer camp agency.
And our life changed.

I became OBSESSED with online business.
Because I realised something...
Creating a lifestyle outside of the system is one thing. Creating the income to sustain it is another.

That's why I do what I do now.
I want women to build businesses around THEIR skills, passions and knowledge.
Businesses that support the life they actually want to live.

Because I never want another woman to feel like she has to settle in life.
You are allowed to want a different life. But at some point, you have to start building it.

HOW NOT TO FAIL AT OFF-GRID LIFE 👇

I see people make the same mistakes time and time again when they dream of moving off grid…

❌ ROMANTICISING THE LIFESTYLE

Off-grid life is incredible, but things break. Water runs out. Solar systems fail. Land needs maintaining.

You have to be willing to learn and adapt.

❌ TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING AT ONCE

The house. The garden. Animals. Solar. Complete self-sufficiency by next Tuesday 😂

Slow down.

Build your dream one step at a time.

❌ THINKING YOU HAVE TO BE 100% SELF-SUFFICIENT

You don't.

Reduce what you need. Learn new skills. Grow what you can.

But remember… you're supposed to actually ENJOY this life.

And the BIGGEST mistake I see? 👇

❌ NOT THINKING ABOUT HOW YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE MONEY

People think off-grid life is cheap.

And yes, it CAN be a lot cheaper when you reduce your outgoings.

But it isn't free.

Things break. Vehicles need fixing. Solar batteries need replacing. And maybe you want to travel, eat out and actually THRIVE — not just survive.

This is why I'm so passionate about creating a location-independent online income.

An income that works around your life and supports your freedom.

Because moving off grid to escape the rat race… only to spend every day worrying about money isn't freedom.
