Match Report.
CD Thader travelled to The Hondon Valley for what proved to be an equally contested game played in good spirit. CD took a 2-0 lead but were unable to add to it until the hosts stepped up and pulled one back as well as missing a penalty. CD then put the game out of reach with a 3rd goal in the last quarter to run out 3-1 winners. The hosts laid on a great spread at their local.
CD goalscorers were Lee Biddle's, Robbie & Fred.

CD Thader entertained a combined team from Portobello at home.

The game was played in good spirits between two very good teams. In the first quarter the game was evenly matched with CD Thader taking the lead with a well worked moved finished off by Lee Biddle's. Just before half time the visitors equalised with some slick movement of the ball between 5 players.

The second quarter started at a good tempo with CD Thader taking the lead with a well worked which end with Darren the Barber Jones bending the ball at pace into the far top corner of the goal. The game flowed from end to end, and with 5 mins to go CD Thader switched off and the visitors capitalised to equalise.

The third quarter had no let up in pace or passion. However, it was CD Thader who took the lead with a rasping shot from Darren the mini bus Scott to send CD Thader into a deserved lead, which they held to the end of the quarter.

The fourth quarter still had let up in pace with both teams playing one and two touch football. CD Thader broke away, and a slide rule pass from Darren the mini bus Scot saw Jim the wee Scotsman Dicki sent a thunderbolt of a shot which the visiting GK could not hold and the ball crossed the line.

Final result 4-2 to CD Thader. Both teams went back to La Unica for drinks and as always quality after match food laid on by Danielle and her team.

CD Thader are playing away in a Tournament in Malaga end of the month. Are next home game is on the 7th March Vs San Fulgencio KO 10.30am, all spectators and supporters welcome.

Pictures of last night's CD Thader first ever Christmas party. A great friendly atmosphere at the corner flag La Finca. The drink flowed and all friends together had a fab time with lots of singing and dancing. Happy Christmas and here's to a prosperous new year.
