Today's project. Refloating this small sailing yacht. We started just before daybreak to avoid disturbing the beachgoers on this normally busy beach. The project went very well and she is now back in her element without any damage.

Working inside a Sea Chest is not for the Claustrophobic! We had to seal and dewater the compartment because the murky water did not allow us to properly inspect the main butterfly valve at the other end.

Yesterday's project; returning this high and dry little aluminium yacht to her element. After lifting her propeller clear of the sand with air bags we towed her over the soft sand and seaweed back into the water. It is very rare that a stranded vessel can start it's engine and and sail away after a salvage, this was one of the lucky few!
