Tras una intensa semana de competición, llega a su fin el VII Internacional David Ferrer 2026.

Han sido días de gran tenis, emoción, esfuerzo y espectáculo sobre las pistas de tierra batida de Ferrer Tennis Academy La Nucía.

Jugadores de diferentes países han competido al más alto nivel, ofreciendo partidos de gran calidad y creando un ambiente excepcional dentro y fuera de la pista. Una semana que ha reflejado perfectamente los valores de nuestro deporte: trabajo, respeto, superación y pasión.

Queremos agradecer a todos los jugadores, entrenadores, familias, árbitros, patrocinadores y colaboradores que han formado parte de esta edición y han contribuido al éxito del torneo.

🇬🇧 After an incredible week of competition, the VII Internacional David Ferrer 2026 comes to an end.

Days filled with intensity, great matches, international talent and unforgettable moments on the clay courts of Ferrer Tennis Academy La Nucía.

Players from different countries competed at a very high level, creating an outstanding atmosphere both on and off the court and showcasing the values that make our sport so special: effort, respect, resilience and passion.

A huge thank you to all the players, coaches, families, officials, sponsors and partners who made this event possible.

𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝐨𝐧 & 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲

Ferrer Tennis Academy La Nucía and Andrew Richardson would like to announce that, in the coming days, Andrew will be taking on a new role as Sports Advisor within the academy.

After four years as Head Coach, this change will allow him to find a better balance between his professional responsibilities and his personal and family life.

We would like to make clear that this change does not affect Andrew’s relationship with the academy in any way. He will continue to be an active part of the project, working alongside the ATF team and contributing the experience and knowledge that have been so important to the academy’s growth over the last few years.

At ATF, we would like to thank Andrew for his dedication, professionalism, and hard work since day one. His role has been fundamental in the development of the project and in many of the goals the academy has achieved during this time.

We are very happy to continue having Andrew as part of this new chapter and are convinced he will continue to play an important role within ATF in the years ahead.
