Beyond the results, this tournament has been about competition, experience, friendships and the development of the next generation of players.

🇬🇧 Some lessons go far beyond a training session or a tennis match.

This week, the 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝟭𝟰 is bringing together talented young players, international competition and, above all, a wealth of experience around the courts at our academy.

Alongside some outstanding matches, we have also had the privilege of welcoming some great names from professional tennis.

𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗿, former world No. 3 and current captain of the Spanish Davis Cup team, has been sharing his thoughts and experience with 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀, Head Coach of the academy.

We have also been delighted to welcome 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮ñ𝗲𝘀, former world No. 22, and 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗹, whose long professional career has given him extensive experience competing at the highest international level.

For our young players, being surrounded by people who know first-hand what it takes to compete at the top is another important part of the learning process.

Because developing a player isn't only about improving strokes.

It's about competing, observing, listening, learning and sharing experiences.

🇪🇸 No todos los días tienes la oportunidad de aprender de alguien que ha vivido el tenis profesional al más alto nivel.

Cada conversación, cada corrección y cada detalle compartido en la pista representan años de experiencia, sacrificio y aprendizaje.

Nos hace mucha ilusión anunciar que Francisco (Paco) Fogués Doménech se incorpora a Ferrer Tennis Academy como 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐨.

Con una amplia trayectoria en el tenis profesional, Paco ha trabajado junto a 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫, 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨 𝐀𝐧𝐝ú𝐣𝐚𝐫, 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐨-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫 y actualmente forma parte del equipo de 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬, medallista olímpica en París 2024.

Su experiencia, compromiso y forma de entender el tenis encajan perfectamente con la filosofía de nuestra academia.

With many years of experience in professional tennis, Paco has worked alongside 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫, 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨 𝐀𝐧𝐝ú𝐣𝐚𝐫, 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐨-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫 and, and currently works with Olympic medallist 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬.
