I tried posting this on the official Contigo Antigua page the other day… hasn’t been approved so hopefully someone can answer as it is now a joke.

“Just adding to this thread can you please let me know why at Cc Monte Castillo where we had 5 waste bins we now only have 2? It has been this way for about a week. Yes there is a lot of rubbish on the floor, but if we had our normal 5 it would not be as bad. We as businesses can’t cary on like this. I know a new contractor is starting, but please put back our bins.”

Now we all know that there is a problem which is being sorted with a new contractor apparently, but removing more than half the bins for the businesses paints a rather dim view on the new council🤔 is it politics at play I wonder.

Please get it sorted ASAP as it is making our town look like a s**t hole that tourists will not want to come back to.
