I have often wondered, what happened to dance?

According to anthropologists, dance is an important part of being human and living collectivity in a society, and has been a pillar in human civilisation since the beginning of time.

Dance encourages bonding, release of intense emotions, and dissolving into a collective, as opposed to always being in the individual self. Equally, with the prevalence of dance, comes a loooong history of the prohibition of dance.

Why is dance so dangerous and why has it been so heavily prohibited…?

If you feel like you have the desire (and even need) to dance, that’s normal. It’s something our ancestors have been doing for thousands of years. Tiny is dedicated in bringing dance back into our modern bodies. Come dance with us…if we are free then let us dance 🙌.

Did you know that there is a feedback loop between the mind and the body? They are in constant dialogue, a two-way highway system.

The way we move our bodies and hold ourselves, affects the way we think. The way we think affects the way we move our bodies and hold ourselves.

Rigid body = rigid mind.
Flexible mind = flexible body.

NOTE: Sometimes we need some rigidity and sometimes we need more flexibility. The point is being able to choose based on what you feel or need in the present moment, and not being stuck in “one” mode of operating.
