We welcomed our champions home the only way a dojo knows how: bows, applause, and that quiet moment where you realize you’re standing in the same room as athletes who refused to break, quit, or back down.Dojo Karate Centre

A Proud Moment for Us and Our Dojo Family 🌟

We’re happy to share our achievements from the November Worlds Martial Arts Games WMAGC, an experience that meant a lot to both of us.

🥇 Abdullah returned with 11 medals (6 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze) and was honoured to receive the title of Most Gold Medal Winner in the senior squad.
🥇 Mantasha got (5 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze), and was named Runner-Up in the junior squad.

Our father, Imran Ishaque, also made us proud by bringing home 2 gold and 1 bronze.

After the championship, we gathered at the Dojo Karate Centre for our official group photo , a simple but meaningful moment for all of us.

Thank you, Hanshi Irfan Ansari, Sensei Jacki Lawrence, Sensei Huseyn Mikayilov, Sensei Natt Dean and Sensei Ishaaq for your guidance, discipline, and constant support. Your training is the reason we were able to perform with confidence and bring these medals home. We are truly honoured to learn under your leadership, and we appreciate everything you have done to prepare us for this journey.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Middleton Technology School for recognising and encouraging Abdullah’s incredible achievement at the World Martial Arts Games 2025 in Oslo. 🥋🌍

He worked so hard, competed in 13 categories, and came home with 11 medals

🏅 6 Gold | 🥈 2 Silver | 🥉 3 Bronze

and seeing his school celebrate him made us feel truly proud and grateful.

Your support, kind words, and belief in him mean more than we can say. It’s wonderful to be part of a school community that notices effort, champions ambition, and celebrates students’ successes beyond the classroom.

Thank you for motivating him, uplifting him, and sharing this special moment with us. 💙

🌟 A Heartfelt Tribute to Our beloved Sensei 🌟

We, Abdullah and Mantasha, want to express our deepest gratitude to the person who has shaped not only our martial arts journey but also who we are as individuals, Sensei Irfan Ansari . 🥋

From the very first day we entered the dojo, Sensei saw something in us that even we couldn’t see. With his incredible experience of over 40 years, he guided us with patience, discipline, and love helping us polish our raw potential into something truly special.

Through every lesson, every correction, and every word of encouragement, Sensei taught us that martial arts is not just about techniques, it’s about respect, humility, and never giving up, no matter how tough the path gets.

Because of his belief in us, we were able to achieve what once felt impossible, earning 11 medals out of 13 categories in Worlds Martial Arts Competition! 🏅 This success belongs as much to him as it does to us, because without his guidance, none of it would have been possible.

Sensei, thank you for being our mentor, our inspiration, and our greatest supporter. You have taught us lessons that will stay with us for life, both inside and outside the dojo.

We are proud to be a part of your Dojo Karate Centre family, and we invite more families to join this wonderful journey, to learn, to grow, and to experience the magic of Sensei Irfan Ansari’s teaching. ❤️
